Miss you. I miss this restaurant. We used to dine here at least once a week. I hope something as good takes it place or Sangria's opens somewhere else.

Good food. Most of the food is good, worth the visit. Sangria is awsome. Does get crowded on Friday nights though. Comparable to the other tapas place, Ceiviche

Nice servers but not worth the money.. The plates that appear on the menu to be main course are appetizer size. We ended up ordering 14 menu items to fill up 6 people.

Wonderful Surprise. We were visiting Tampa over the holdiay and found Sangria listed in the local Friday Extra section of the Tampa newspaper. We searched for it and found it to be a wonderful surprise! The food was outstanding (Calamares al Ajillo was so good we had to order a second serving!).

Hats off to the wait staff and the entire staff as they were very friendly and made great menu suggestions. Greta was one of the best servers we have experienced and she was attentive to both my wife and myself. We will definitely make it a part of future trips to the Tampa area.

lalo93. We have had numerous parties at Sangria's (birthdays, anniversaries, bridal shower) and have always been treated wonderfully. The food is great, the servers and management go out of their way to see that we have a festive time. The best time to go for a party is early Friday or Saturday or any week day. The free valet parking is a definite plus. Try the calamari - it's the BEST!!

Rude Service. I went here to celebrate a friends birthday. We had made reservations ahead of time for a group of 15. When we arrived we were told that we had only 2 hours (from the time of our reservation) and then we had to be out of there. Not only was that rude and unprofessional, the staff made us feel very uncomfortable throughout the night and asked us to leave when our 2 hours were up. Just plain rude, especially when we were giving them our business. Never Again!

Nibble "little dishes of Spain" and raise a glass of sweet, chilled sangria at this gem on South Tampa's restaurant row.. The Scene
Warm and inviting, this laid-back locale caters to late-night fashionistas and stylish señors. Savor sumptuous dishes as they arrive, one by one, atop crisp white tablecloths accented by striking cobalt goblets and dark-wood chairs. Soft lighting spotlights Spanish art and terra-cotta tile floors and walls.

The Food
Patrons leave no morsel behind as they sop up flavorful juices with fresh, warm bread. Served cold, Ceviche de la Casa tosses lime-infused shrimp, scallops and squid with a subtle dressing of tangy peppers, onions and lemon. Indulge in thick slices of roasted pork tenderloin artfully placed atop a cream of mustard sauce and mashed potatoes; flaky and sweet pan-seared salmon encrusted with sliced hazelnuts in a fresh fennel sauce; and sautéed shrimp drowning in a spicy broth with garlic and red pepper. Don't miss the towering 1,000-layer sheet cake--a subtle lemon chantilly cream spread between phyllo dough and topped with sliced strawberries.
