A Tampa Must. This is one of our favorite Tampa treats. I don't get any of the previous negative posts as we have been there at least 8 times without any of these issues. Lobster rolls are delicious and huge. Crab legs, fish platter and chowder are all great, but by far the best is the sweet, delicious lobster. They always have specials and the lobster is very reasonably priced. And don't forget the free beer. This place has great food, but our favorite part is Allen the owner... he makes the place. Heck, just go in for a lobster roll and some beer and you'll be hooked.

Lobstah I got Robstah'ed. Buyer Beware! This place is a joke. If you stay after you see the interior then shame on you. Their ad in the paper says Fish Tacos $6.99. That is for one 2-3 oz

mushy frozen fish stick in a soggy tortilla. Their famous chowder is potatoes in a watered down broth with 1 M&M size piece of Lobster. The Lobster roll is shoved into a tiny split on a stale hot dog bun so it looks like you are getting a generous portion. This is fraud at its finest. I am not sure if the owner from Maine has checked what he is serving up, but I would be afraid to admit I am from Maine after seeing this representation. I know I am sure not in a hurry to see what they have to offer up there after this sorry Tampa experience.

Overpriced, not True Newengland Food. The reason this restaurant is still open is only because there are so many Northern transplants in the area who crave good "back home" food. Monstah Lobstah doesn't cut it. It would never survive anywhere in Newengland. The food is mediocre, at best. The clam chowder should be renamed as potato soup. The fried whole belly clams were a soggy, oily mess. The lobster was good (who can ruin a good Maine Lobster), but highly overpriced. I think I'll wait until I visit back home before I attempt to satify my Newengland food cravings in this area.

This place is great!. The lobstah roll is the best sandwich I've ever had and for a couple dollars more you can get a drink and chips. The manager is friendly and the service is quick. The crab cakes are also good, but for your best experience definitely go with the lobstah roll.

This place is BAD !!!. If you want to waste your money and get a terrible meal then go here. The menu is terrible my wife had shrimp stuffed with ritz crackers. It came with 5 small shrimp and a half a box of crackers. I had the Lobstah and it was OK but expensive. I also had the chowder and it was warm water with potatoes. They should spend less money promoting this place and use it to upgrade the quality of the food. All this for $70.00 I'll never go back and I predict this place will be closed in 2 years or less.
