Fun Place. This is a GREAT place to grab a bite to eat and some beers at night with some friends in a causal and relaxing island atmosphere. If you like draft beer, they are only a 2 for $2, and all the sandwiches/entrees we've tried have been really good. The blackened mahi wrap is my favorite!

Paradise on Fowler. I have found a new and wonderful hang out on dreery Fowler Ave....Coconut Bay. EXCELLENT food, especially the crab cakes. Great bartenders, friendly managers and now Texas hold-em poker. You really should try this place.

Cheap eating it's not. I went in for lunch recently, and thought I was on a vacation island when I saw the menu prices. The least expensive lunch item (a sandwich) was $8.99, so with my $2.00 iced tea, and tax/tip I spent about $14.00 for lunch. Then I saw a small card with a $5.99 daily special, which the waitress never mentioned, but only one item per week-day is available. The grouper sandwich was good, but I'll only go for the special in the future. A half sandwich for less money would have been plenty to eat, and an easier price to swallow.

September 23 - Lunch. If you looking for the usual 1 hour lunch, Coconut Bay is not the restaurant for you. Granted, it is in it's 1st week of being open, but it took 30 minutes and some prompting to get drinks ordered! Meanwhile others that came in after me, had gotten their drinks and food! The waitress was not attentive and did not refill drinks. Another 30 min to get food after the order was put in! When asked to see the manager, the manager took 15 minutes to come to the table and offered free desserts. Even then, you could tell he was busting his butt from the people that didn't show up and offered free meal on them. But then made us promise to come back. I said "I may give you guys another try but give you a while to get your act together."
