Couldn't disagree more. I was there on that Friday and sat on the outside patio for the entire night, and I don't agree with your opinion at all. I thought the 2 bartenders were attentive and I never had to wait for a drink. I didn't see any egos, I thought they had great senses of humor. I don't know what you expect from your bartenders, but I found it easy to strike up conversation with them. I'll agree that the pricing is a little steep, but the service was top notch! I only hope the Dubliner doesn't close like the last place.

Nothing special - Yet. Went to what I guess is their new location in a little strip plaza for the first time last night. They found a great little building but its a shame that they didnt spend a little more time looking for a friendly staff. The two guy bartenders at the patio bar were just falling over themselves to give as much attitude as they possibly could. Not one to write a review about things unless there was something the general public needed to know, but if you are taking a date here or just going out with friends you WILL be embarassed about the service you get here. A couple of the bartenders are more concerned about their own ego then making a friendly home in a new neighborhood for the people in this area. Could be a decent place if the owner spent some time reevaluating the atmosphere and vibe he/she is trying to set. Did not leave feeling good about the money I spent here is the jist of it. Far better places in the west chase/ citrus park area that actually want to earn your buisness with good, respectfull servers and that know they are not the only game in town.

Great Place. I have been here quite a bit in the past 3 years, the staff is SUPER friendly, they have great live music, outside seating available, great beer selections, great food, comfortable surroundings. Not so crowded. I love this place! Very friendly! Ill be having my bday there next month along with another friend of mine, because i feel comfortable taking her to a place where EVERYBODY KNOWS YOUR NAME!!!!

Irish pub for sure, but nothing special besides outside seating.. Authetic decor but average in every other way. Half of things out of order, wheter it was one of two dartboards, one of two bathroom stalls, food on menu not really available, beer selection is nothing special. If in the area worth a stop in if looking for outside seating, but if looking for a real Irish bar just avoid this place, not worth the hassle to get to. No pool table, food nothing special to say the least... in fact not very good.

Just right. Stop by to hear some of the best live music Tampa has to offer; also, the patrons are very polite and down for some fun. Get there early to sample some of the Irish and non-Irish dishes, then get set for the South Tampa crowd to make an unforgettable night. Be bold, try a new beer each night you decide to go. You'll be pleasantly suprised, I'm sure.

With unusual beers on tap, homey patio and savory Irish food, this quaint pub is a local favorite.. The Scene
Irish-themed decor, live music and golden pints make this joint more than just the pub around the corner. Eclectic urbanites and yuppie after-work crowds stop by this house-turned-bar for reasonably priced brews and above-average grub, or to play pool or watch the game. Outside, copper awnings and large oaks cover the wraparound wooden deck with two bars. Dim rope lighting and satellite televisions cast a glow on the helpful bartenders; some even have Irish accents.

The Food
Guinness lovers rejoice: Items infused with the Irish stout include traditional shepherd's pie--marinated ground beef topped with thick mashed potatoes and melted cheddar--and the famous 7-ounce Dubliner burger, topped with sauteed mushrooms and onions. Grab plenty of napkins before biting into the jumbo wings doused in Guinness barbecue sauce. Crispy, fresh North Atlantic cod and golden chips served with malt vinegar round out the menu.
