Go there often live right down the street grilled shrimp is my favorite love sitting outside and still be able to watch the game and be by the water can't beat it and reasonable prices

Even with it's problems, totally worth it.. We go to Jack Willie's a lot. Outside on an evening is really nice and it's a great place to take kids - the music and waterfront make it interesting. The bar gets crowded, service gets slow and at times completely non-existent. But they do try, and while I'm not one to forgive poor service, I have to say this place has some things going for it. The menu is great. Sure, you have your typical bar food, but there's also some terrific Ahi Tuna and some salads to die for. After the fall of Jimmie Macs, the Jack Willie burger is a very close seond. The fish spread is literally perfection! They have a good kids menu and the sea food is always fresh. My husband wasn't too impressed witht he grouper, so maybe that's something to stay away from if you're used the grouper quality of Frenchy's. The crowd is good, and I've never seen anyone hanging at the bar that I wouldn't want my children around. Great place for Floridians who like the laid-back style but want a menu with substance.

Bad Night Out. It was 6 pm and we went to Jack Willies, the hostess prompted us to sit out side and we did.The waitress came to us and took our order. We asked for a couple of drinks and our food, she brought out our drinks and was never seen again! Someone else brought out our order. Nothing left to drink, no condiments for our food and the grouper sandwich was dried out on a piece of old stale bread. Waitress was pre-occipied with another table passing out tee shirts. I went inside for help. Our waitress appeared as if all was well. We asked for the manager explained that my wife had completed her meal and that I did not get to eat. and that we both had nothing to drink. His actions resulted in nothing more then taking the dried out Grouper sandwich off the tab.

Management failed as well.

fun place. fun outdoor bar. usually some kind of live music. reasonably priced drinks and good food. On the water. Free valet parking.
