Tips for Panera Bread

July 26, 2008

Fresh-baked goods, fresh-brewed coffee and creative sandwiches served up in relaxed, roomy surroundings.. In Short
Bright colors and comfortable furniture give this chain cafe a laid-back feel, with scattered tables that beckon coffee-sipping readers, chatters and diners. All baked goods--bagels, muffins, two dozen kinds of bread--are made fresh on the premises. Sandwiches include turkey-artichoke panini and Asiago roast beef, plus standards like chicken salad and smoked turkey. Soups change daily, but popular choices like broccoli and cheese, chicken noodle and French onion are always on the menu.

great for lunch. i love panera because everything on the menu seems to be healthy but it also tastes terriffic. i would highly reccomend the sandwiches accompanied by the broccoli cheese soup. they also have a wonderful bakery where fresh bread is made every day. they're green tea smoothies are divine.

Parking lot is crazy, expensive, but good. The food isn't exactly expensive, but it is for counter service. It is equivalent in price at eating at a full-service Bennigan's or such. It is fresh and tasty, but a monster mess (crowded and I still don't know where the lines begin and end, and there are at least 3 lines I know of inside) and try not to kill pedestrians and your car in the nutso parking lot.

Definately not cheap. Best food - soup. Tasty cuisine but this is definitely not a cheap eat. The menu is pricey just like any new urban fast food. Equate the cost to Starbucks. $2.00 for a drink, 5 bucks for soup and roll of bread and if you wan to take home pastry... Whoa! Ordered pastry for a nice holiday brunch for 8 & bought a few loaves. Spent over $100 bucks!

The lines are VERY long and although the register moves at a good pace waiting for your food to be prepared or finding a table can take your whole lunch hour.

The word that describes Panera.. "eh". It is all yuppie hype.

Perfect Lunch. This is the best place to get a quick bite for lunch. Do not let the lines frighten you, the service is incredibly fast. The hot sandwiches are the best.
