Bright colors and comfortable furniture give this chain cafe a laid-back feel, with scattered tables that beckon coffee-sipping readers, chatters and diners. All baked goods--bagels, muffins, two dozen kinds of bread--are made fresh on the premises. Sandwiches include turkey-artichoke panini and Asiago roast beef, plus standards like chicken salad and smoked turkey. Soups change daily, but popular choices like broccoli and cheese, chicken noodle and French onion are always on the menu.

Many thanks to Michele and the catering staff. I have always enjoyed Panera for personal lunches and pre-ordered catering. I find the food to be fresh and delicious and love the hazelnut coffee. Recently I needed two last minute catering orders prepared. I called Michele, the Via Panera Coordinator for this area, explaining my dilemma. My orders were prepared (with all set ups) and ready for pick up in remarkable time. I did not personally participate in enjoying these orders but have received numerous calls of thanks so feel sure they lived up to my expectations. Though I would recommend ordering timely, I give this team full credit for pulling this one off.
