This is fine dining at its best. Not only does the service understand the importance of fine service but incorporates a genuine appreciation of their guests. They made us feel right at home and the food is comparable to any of the premium steakhouses in Tampa. Our server Taryn walked us through our entire experience and made our anniversary one to remember. I highly recommend the crab cake appetizer and their steaks precede their reputation. Excellent food and service.
I got the 24 oz. Porterhouse steak -- must have been the best steak I have had in my life. Appetizers were great, too. The service was wonderful. I have absolutely no complaints about this restaurant, at all.
Excellent food, service and location!!!.
We visited Watercolour's last evening and had a fantastic experience!! The food was great as was the service (never had to ask for water refills or anything). No problems whatsoever. The manager stopped by the table several times to see how everything was, and it was very good. And the location was beautiful, dining looking over the water. Very romantic! A little on the pricey side but on line with other steakhouses, you won't be sorry you went. Also some really unique Martini's that I recommend.
Great food, poor service.
For food quality and ambience, Watercolour is excellent, wiht good food and excellent view. But oh, the awful service! We recently dined on a Saturday night, a table for 12 celebrating a special event. The restaurant was not crowded. Our unassisted waiter could never get his pace going. We waited 30 minutes for drinks, and another 30 to order. After appetizers and salads, the food arrived, while we were without silverware and steak knives. Entrees were served, then the waiter disappeared for silverware as the entrees and sides sat quickly going cold. Some sides were never delivered. Requests to dining management to address and speed service went unheeded. Overall, the service was terrible, and the management staff unsympathetic and uncaring. If you have patience for bad service, you might find the food worth the wait. Otherwise, dine elsewhere.
