If you want it, they won't have it.. Are you kidding me? it doesn't even deserve a fraction of a star. If we are reviewing the Popeyes at 3210 Central Avenue in St. Petersburg, there are not words to describe the absolute incompetance of the management at this store. I can't count the number of times that I have gone there only to find that they are out of whatever it is that I am wanting to order! On a consistant basis, they are out of the chicken planks and each and everytime the national add campaign promotes a specialty item such as crawfish, they are "out"of that item whenever you go in. Just tonight, I visited and requested the crawfish tacklebox...OUT, the chicken planks...OUT, the shrimp Po-Boy... you guessed it...OUT. Needless to say, I left at this point. Undoubtedly this was the last time that I even attempt this location until such time that someone decides that the management is completely incompetant and decides to hire personnel with some degree of intelligence. RUN DON'T WALK... AWAY!!
Cajun-inspired chicken and biscuits chain proffers classic Southern favorites, seafood, sides and desserts with a tangy twist..
In Short
This Cajun-style fast food restaurant first opened in New Orleans in 1972 and has since achieved domestic and international fame for its flavorful mild and spicy chicken. In addition to the storied buttermilk biscuits, seafood menu items range from fried popcorn shrimp and shrimp snack "Craver Paks" to chicken sausage jambalaya, catfish baskets and shrimp etouffee. More festive Louisiana regional fare--think red beans and rice, and Mardi Gras cheesecake--rounds out the menu.
