Good Thai Food. I have been to the Amarit Thai Restaurant three times and the food has been excellent every time. The staff is very friendly and food comes out very fast. The flavor is very unique and flavorful. The price can be somewhat expensive depending on what you get, but its worth it to spend a couple extra dollars to get fresh well prepared food. Better than getting the run of the mill food that you get at a take out spot. I definately recommend trying it out if you are looking for something new.

TERRIFIC THAI!. By far the best Thai Restaurant I've eaten in. Food is prepared meticulously with a focus on the freshest ingredienst. Every single dish I have tried there is bursting with prefectly balanced flavors. Every mouthful is a feast for the tastebuds. If you like Thai, then any Thai restaurant will do. If you like Thai and you come to Amarit, you will leave loving Thai. If you love Thai, then this is the place for you! Try it once and you'll come back for more again and again.

GREAT THAI!. This is one of the few great restaurants in the area. I moved to Florida about 2 years ago from NJ and couldn't believe how GREAT the food is at Amarit. The service is always great and the food to die for. You won't be sorry if you visit this restaurant.

Amazingly tasty Thai food!. My wife and I love Asian food and Thai is one of our favorites. A coworker who lives in Palm Harbor told us to try Amarit Thai in the Boot Ranch shopping center in East Lake and we've been huge fans ever since. The atmosphere is a bit more upscale than the places we use to frequent in Clearwater area and the food is leagues better. Their tom kha (chicken coconut soup) is to die for and something we order every visit. At some places this soup can be bland but Amarit's has more flavor from the lime juice and chili. My wife can't take much heat and the wait staff are great about telling the kitchen to adjust the spice level. They even remembered on our second visit and we didn't have to ask. Very cool.

My favorite dishes are the curries and the fresh salads which feature meat or seafood. My ten year old loves the yum neua (beef salad) with slices of beef with herbs in a lime marinade. For Thai comfort food my wife loves their beef Penang curry which has veggies and peanuts in a red curry sauce. Very yummy, but I add a little more chili to mine.

The prices are about average for this area and the service is excellent. We stop by at least once a week for either take out or to eat there. There are plenty of places closer to our house in Clearwater but none come close to Amarit.

Great Soups. The food is authentic Thai. They have good fast service. Very friendly. Only complaint is the decor lacks pizzaz. Not that comfortable seating for me. We get carry out a lot beacuse of that.
