There are so many customers that come into Lucky Dill Deli that should be slapped. First off, no one cares if you are from New York, you’re in Florida now. So the pastrami isn't what you get at Stage Deli, FYI this isn’t New York!!! You may think you are so superior but really you’re just a loud and annoying. They have Bud and Bud Light on tap and customers grunt, 'argg, no Amberbach.' Lucky Dill is a Deli not a TGI Fridays. On Fridays there is all you can eat fish and people complain when it takes 10 minutes to get seconds, your food is made after it is ordered so they have to cook the fish. And if it takes longer it isn't you servers fault. They are doing the best they can to get your food out to you so they can make their 10% tip and get you out the door. Servers run their butt off, 10% or less is not appropriate. If that is what you are going to leave than expect 10% kind of service. If you can't afford to leave a real tip them you can't afford to eat out, get it to go. Prices have to rise to keep up with rising food cost. If you’re paying more at a grocery store then the restaurants are paying more for their supplies too. To the person who complained about apple martinis shrinking, seriously give me a break, why would the glass size matter if you get the same amount of alcohol, they were probably adding too much juice. Plus if I am not mistaken you are only paying $3 in the first place. Where else can you get any kind of martini for $3? And finally, your server isn’t retarded so don’t talk to them like they are. Many servers have college degrees or are working towards a degree so treat them with respect. You can’t expect good friendly service when you are a total butt to your server. Lucky Dill has great food and the owner works really hard to offer new specials and use quality ingredients. The Lucky Dill staff is just hard workers trying to pay their bills and support their families just like you. So remember that next time you eat out.

I have been going to Lucky Dill for more than 4 years. Until 4 months ago I felt that I was getting a good bargain during the early bird specials. However, things changed for the worse. Now the food does not come in a timely manner. When extra fish is ordered with the meal, it doesn't come until I am ready to go home. It always came about ten minutes after I ordered it. What has happened? Also, I have been having a Big Apple Martini on those nights. The first ones came in a big glass and were filled to about a half inch from the top. Over the last four months, the drinks have been shrinking. When I questioned the server this last Friday, the manager came over to our table (which was sandwiched between two other couples) and exclaimed that after a "big meeting" it was determined that the servers were over filling the glasses. This week the drinks didn't even come up to an inch below the rim. If they are going to serve a martini in a big glass I think it should be filled up. Why don't they serve it in a smaller glass and make that one full. I also noticed that when ketchup was requested, it was brought to the table in a tiny paper cup (enough for about a dozen fries). Where are the bottles of ketchup on the tables?
