this place SUCKS. very snobbish employees. FOOD SUCKS. VERY overpriced . Servers always on cell phones or talking to each other in the back area. We went with a table of 4 andgot our food in shifts, and it was cold when it came out! Will NEVER dine there again

Great service and consistent food make my breakfast place!. Chris, the owner is very nice, and Patty and Natasha (Chris' daughter) are also very nice but also very good servers (thoughtful and intelligent – always ask more discerning questions to get things right instead of running off). I have yet to get bad service here and I’m very picky when it comes to breakfast as most of this stuff you can make yourself. The cook knows how to poach eggs and cook crisp bacon evenly without burning it or throwing it in the fryer like so many do. Grits are nearly always cooked to perfection. Usually good ambiance as its beach side but always good service. Prices also as reasonable as all the other local places. In terms of "set up", the coffee station is central to the room, which explains why servers are able to be attentive and timely. Some places just have bad configurations that make it tougher for servers. Unlike many of the other places there is seating fro larger groups. This is now my "spot" for breakfast as I've tried all the other local places at least twice and this one is the best in my opinion. Good luck!

Great Breakfast!!!!. We tried Sandys for the first time this past March 2011,and found the food was great! Chris, her daughter and staff are very friendly and handle the over abundance of people very well!!!! Outside seating is available also! Give them a try, they have owned this place for two years now,so if you have not tried them since then......please do! Kudos to staff, and food! Tina and Ron,Chincoteague Island,Va.....

The best breakfast on Indian Rocks. This is the best FULL breakfast in Indian Rocks... One Bakery just got voted the best but they only a few french type breakfast pastries.....

The portions and large and the food is cooked well.. Service is fast... Food is hot and delicious.. I live here and eat there all of the time.

Avoid this. What a disappointment. I never knew that breakfast could be so tasteless or with such a lack of service.

An awful breakfast, avoid. Last week we were staying at the beach, we walked to Sandy's for Breakfast. The food was not very appetizing and some of our food was burnt. The staff seemed disgruntled and very reluctant to help. We also never received any drink refills. I have lived near Indian Rocks Beach for a long time and there is defiantly better family dinning elsewhere in the area.

Disappointing breakfast. I just moved to Indian Rocks Beach, and took the advice of the previous reviews. This restaurant was very disappointing. The pancakes were bland, the english muffin rock hard, the bacon was ordered medium and came out burnt, the 'home fries were cold. The only thing that came out 'right' was the over easy eggs. For the price compared to other restaurants on the beach, this was extremely disappointing. I will never dine there again.

Best Breakfast in Town. About a year ago I stumbled upon Sandy's and have been a regular ever since. They consistently have the best breakfast in town, from the pancakes to their omeletes, you can't go wrong. Little by little, the locals have made it their breakfast spot. I hesitate to recommend it to tourists because I don't want to have to wait for a table, but it is too good to keep it a secret.

Great food, great value, family friendly. A friend and I were vacationing and had passed by Sandy's on a previous day. We decided to try it, since we were aiming for little "hole in the wall" places, versus big commercial eateries.

We went for breakfast, and I must say I really enjoyed it! The atmosphere is very informal (you seat yourself), very friendly waitresses, and colorful, beautiful pictures line the wall (they are for sale for $45-70). They have both indoor and outdoor seating..we sat indoors.

The food was fantastic! I ordered a veggie omlette, which was very fresh (even the mushrooms - most places throw in canned), a heaping pile of hashbrowns (great, very potato-y and not greasy at all), plus two big slices of toast for $6.50! I was STUFFED! My coffee was refilled ALL the time without me having to ask.

I would definately recommend Sandy's! It's a great place to go with friends or family (or even alone) before or after the beach!
