new to pinellas area. recently moved to northern pinellas county, only to find the economy has killed the hobby shop. i have been out of the hobby for 4 years due to this myself. buy, i did find phils shop on park street and made the drive to check it out. phil has what im looking for, nitro r/c cars and parts. he has all the major name brands, traxxas, hpi, ofna, losi, os......now he doesnt have everything, but who does? he will gladly order anything you need with no shipping charges. phil and the staff i have met are polite and helpful to the best of their knowledge. i am going back today to buy some ofna stuff to re-enigineer the throttle linkage on my hpi savage. thinking of buying an eflite heli too. phils prices are generally the same as ebay....no shipping or waiting for mail lady. dont hesitate to shop here! the only problem you will find is sometimes phils is too busy....... because there is no where else to go, unless you want to drive all the way to north dale mabry in tampa/carrolwood area......no thanks!!

Great little shop. Decent selection of R/C cars and planes and other hobby items. They carry a bunch of parts and I have been there several times for repair items. Very helpful staff and I found their prices to be very competitive with internet sites.

Phils Hobby Shop ROCKS.
This store has the most major brands and their parts in stock, They also carry model rockets and parts,plastic model kits,Heli's, Planes, Boats, Transmitters,lipo batterys ETC ETC.
Customer service is off the charts, "Brian" is the number guy to ask for knowledge or seeking specialty items. Centrally located in Pinellas Park and open on Sundays Big Plus !
This clown "walalyyy" who wrote a bad review is a complete moron, check the sentence structure and spelling . The rebates are your own responsibility not the hobby shops you stupid Dickhole.

Hobbys are not us. Thats right not recomened. This place is the onlystore in pinellas o fit's kind and they know it. the customer service is the worst . they will lie about products, fail to tell u of rebates that cuold save u money u might spend in the store right? generally just a whats that, no we dont do that here. do yourself a favor and order internet and just forget the place ever existed. now lets see if this post stays
