Best Philly in St. Pete. I grew up just outside Philly and loved the Italian subs and Philly steak subs, from family run deli's. I've been eating at Colonial Corner since 1980 after looking for a "real" Philly steak in the area for about 15 years. This is the real deal! Don't expect cheeze whiz, they use real cheese. No wid or widout, that is something new to me. This is old time Philly Steak and Cheese. They also make one of the best Italian subs you will ever eat no matter where you are from. Thier "hogie" (Philly area sub) rolls are some of the best, if not the best in the area. The only way to verify what I have published above is to go and have one of the best in the area.

Best Hoagie in St Pete. Definitely a local shop. They don't advertise, they don't take credit or debit, they're just a tiny little shop that's been here as long as I have. Very casual family owned.

The only way you know about the place is by word of mouth. But, without fail, when you go in, it's packed.

Old fashioned Deli Hoagies, the way they were meant to be. Fresh cut deli meats, a great steak and cheese sandwishes, and homemade salads.

Grab a beer from the cooler, have a chat with the workers about baseball or other sports... But don't drive too fast going by or you might miss it!
