Tips for Gold's Gym

This place is perfect for the Hardcore Bodybuilder or just for getting in shape. I have been to two of the locations of Gold's. I have done some traveling and worked out at alot of other health clubs/gyms. And by far, Gold's has been the best. ON EVERYTHING! They have the equipment needed for Hardcore or just getting that figure you so disire. The staff is excellent and so darn friendly and "know their stuff" when it comes to fitness. There is always a Personal Trainer on site for any questions you may have and will answer right then and there. The classes are awesome and taught by professionals. I have not one complaint about Gold's. Overpriced? Not at all, we all heard the saying "you get what you pay for" well with Gold's, "you get what you pay for and MORE!" I love this place and would recommend to anyone interested in getting a Health Club Membership. Gold's you are the best, keep up the awesome work......................

Despite its Hollywood connections, this franchise's focus is on pumping iron, not newfangled razzle-dazzle.. In Short
The Terminator and the Incredible Hulk (aka Arnold Schwarzenegger and Lou Ferrigno) lifted weights at the gym's Venice, California, flagship years ago, but even today, customers frequenting charter locations are bound to encounter serious muscle. Take note: The boys with bulging biceps are the mascots, not the majority. Gold's generally offers Spinning, aerobics and kickboxing classes, yet weight-training remains the core of the program. Dumbbells and barbells, not spa-like amenities, are the attractions that draw the beef-heads in droves.

Crooks!. This gym is WAY overpriced for what they offer. The classes are awful and not offered at convenient times. Also, when you try to cancel your membership, they make you get a certified letter from the post office and after that it takes 60 DAYS for it to go through. Thus, they charge you an extra two months when you have already decided you do not want to return. Unbelievable! I will NEVER get another membership at any Gold's Gyms EVER again
