They did it again.... I had my rear window on my 2005 Yukon Denali replaced by the Tampa office...TWICE...and the hinges broke off both times (cheaper redesign of hinges noted)

although the real problem was that they gave me a window for a 2006 instead!!! After much wrangling they agreed to do a 3rd install with the correct piece and it has worked fine.

Fast forward to yesterday...I got a spider crack on my front winshield of the same vehicle..called GEICO and they said Safelite was their preferred installer. So I went to the Largo office..one of the managers was a nice guy and told me he would be taking my money trying to repair a crack so close to the edge...so we set up a replacement at my home the next day...gave me a 12-5pm window to be there. At 130pm I called to inquire when they would be here....they said they made a mistake and had me set up for an in shop repair instead and couldnt do it today. So, a vacation day with my 3 young boys is blown..and will have to be tomorrow am too. Let's hope there are no further screwups....
