excellant sales an service. i have been a customer of ATLAS for years. contrary to deelyn's posting she must of been really guilty an stupid to make a post like that lol. i was a observer in the store yesterday an i could clearly see she was lying. lady why would he tell you to find the age thru the serial number if he said it was 1 year old?did you pay the last company for service on your appliance? is that why they kept your old part?why did you bring a police officer with you if you were rite?why did you give ATLAS your old refrig. for repair also?ii am sure they don't need you an your bussiness after the spectacle you made of yourself.it was real clear to me you were telling nothing but lie's.at 65 maybe your a lil senile? get help. ive been doing bussines there for years , they are always busy and i live in the sea towers where everyone recommends them both in sales and service.i suggest you get evaluated.…
The owner is a liar and a thief. I just read the three reviews on here and was surprised at the two glowing reviews - until I noticed they were written the same day. Also, the owner's long time employee's name is Jimmy (as in Jimmttazz). I am a 65 year old woman who just learned an expensive lesson. I purchased a refrigerator two days ago from Atlas Appliance for $500. I was told several times by the owner and his employee that the refrigerator was only a year old. I had purchased a new 22 cu ft frig from Sears for $616 but it couldn't be delivered until today. After my tenant loudly complained about the lack of a working frig I cancelled the frig from Sears and purchased the one from Atlas because it could be delivered that day. Eight hours after it was delivered it quit working. I called Atlas immediately after being told of the frig shutting down but didn't get an answer (Sat evening). I tried several times to reach them on Sun morning. I began to suspect that I had been lied to about the age of the frig so I went online to see if I could determine the age by the serial number. I learned that the first two letters of the serial number represented the month and the year of manufacture on G.E. refrigerators. When I checked the serial number on the "one year old" refrigerator that Bob from Atlas Appliance had sold me, I found out it was actually manufactured in 2004. We had decided not to pay $500 to get our 2005 extremely nice stainless frig repaired because of its age only to purchase a much cheaper model a year older for $500. After reading reviews on other sites about the owner's belligerent behavior towards customers, I did not want to confront him alone so a police officer accompanied me to the store. The owner eventually offered me $400 for the frig that I had just paid him $500 for two days ago. The officer advised me to take it because unfortunately it was my word against the owner's that he had told me it was only a year old. As the officer said before we even got to the store, he will just deny he told you that - which is exactly what he did. The owner claimed not to know how to tell the age of a frig and NEVER told anyone an age. He is a G.E. dealer who has been in business many years - how would he not know how to tell the age by the serial number when I found out how to in a matter of minutes on the internet? I found out a friend and neighbor purchased a new stove from him a couple of years ago. She told him she wanted a new one rather than the floor model. He assured her she would get a new one out of the box. When the owner walked away, her husband made a mark on the sticker of the stove as a way of telling it from a new one. When the stove was delivered, there was the mark on the sticker where her husband had put it. When he was confronted about his lie, he claimed he did not know his employee had delivered the floor model to her and offered her a $50 credit toward her next purchase. She told him he didn't need to worry because she would never purchase anything from him again. This man lied to me about the age of the frig I purchased - I would never have purchased an 8 year old frig - let alone paid $500 for it. He stole the $100 that he would not refund the same as any common thief. Also, he would not take any form of payment other than cash. Not only is he lying to customers and stealing from us, it appears as he is lying to Pinellas county and I.R.S. about his sales. I would never recommend anyone to buy an appliance from this store.…

Seminole's biggest cheat. Run to another GE sales! I trusted ATlas to buy a NEW fridge over the phone and have it delivered to my Mom...I believed he delivered a new fridge, until it quit working in less than 2 months. Than the story changed. The owner claimed I bought it in Jan, not May...that the 90 day warranty was expired...than I produced proof of the delivery date, the reason was not covered by the warranty. He told the Consumer Protection Agency that it was only a 30 day warranty. The owner has called me stupid and a liar and has repeatedly hung up on me. RUN...spend your money elsewhere.…
