Largo >Venus Restaurants
Service needs to be more friendly that early in the morning.. Owners/managers seem nice but the servers are a little salty. Food is good. Prices are fair but no ambiance or anything. Nothing stellar and I wish the service was better. To be fair she did hit my coffee several times. I just wish she was more pleasant. I asked for 2% or skim mild for my coffee and she ran to tell someone to brink "milk" to me. Grits were a little overcooked and my poached eggs, although cooked very well, were swimming in the water in the dish.
Not Friendly. We also have visited this place for years, not once has the owner (I believe his name is Paul) or his wife ever said hello or asked how things are. I believe the above review was staged, I am only leaving a review since others at the medical center agreed they are rude. Perhaps that is how things are done where they came from but here in the states we are friendly towards others.
wonderful place. Ive been going to the venus for seven years, and have recieved the best combination of food and service. The prices are very good, with almost everything under 10$, and all dinners come with 2 sides plus a soup or salad AND a free desert. The family that has been running it for like 20 years actually build relationships with their customers, instead of just taking your money. Ive only complained one time in all the years ive been going there and they immediately appologized and corrected the problem. Not many restaurants compare.
Meal became A la Carte, I thought we were being served by the Soup Nazl.
After years of dining there, they were very rude and wanted to charge for every dinner roll, extra sauce and even denied a request for a refill. Lots of restaurants have good food and with today?s economic climate, set your price where you are comfortable or you will get a bad reputation for adding on fees. Two under $8 items and a Childs breakfast soon reached close to $30, when we asked why they informed us they should have charged us for everything. These owners make Ma and Pa Restaurants leave a bad taste in your mouth.
I see no one has taken the time to even write a positive review even with them being there for years.
