Took my boat there yesterday with a couple buddies and must say, it was a hell of a time! Good music, hott girls and good drinks!

Shepard's. Love that you can go to the bar and get a drink and then walk back out to the ocean.

Waste of time. Shepard's promotes, along with WFLZ, that Lady gaga is coming for an afterparty. You either know for sure or you don't. It's all just a stunt to bring more people in. Waste of time.

Great Hotel BUT.... It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at referer.us/8/GoodHotelDeals They usually have some pretty good deals on there!

PARTAY!!. I had a blast at Shephard's Resort! The beach is a fraction of what one might expect, but there is plenty of deck to sun on. This is somewhat of a "party hotel", so don't be suprised if there are drunk kids and adults all around. Not exactly what I would call a classy family resort, but there are newly renovated suites on the upper floors that are nice and modern. My suite had rosewood colored cabinets in the kitchenette, lots of marble.

The waterfront restaurant boasts a very extensive seafood themed buffet. It is OK, but I found that it seems that they have nearly too many items on the buffet to handle. Many of the salads tasted alike, and I do not recommend any of the raw shelfish on ice. Prime rib was tasty, crab claws were thin and difficult to get meat out of.

A popular destination for all year long.. The Scene
Thanks to the very popular and long-standing backyard Tiki Bar that boasts live music almost nightly year-round, there is usually a crowd partying it up at this hotel. Keep in mind that it's the kind of place that hosts bikini contests. The clientele tends to be made up of young couples over the age of 21 and a few loyal followers who have been coming here year after year.

The Details
Guest rooms are stocked with a full collection of basic amenities, including coffee makers, hair dryers, microwaves, refrigerators, voice mail, data ports and more. All also come with patios or balconies. This resort offers a great Gulf of Mexico setting as well as one of the most active night scenes in the area. In addition to the Tiki Bar, it's home to the two-level Wave nightclub. While kids under 17 stay free with their folks, the majority here are over drinking age. Recreation includes a pool, Jacuzzi and fitness center. Room service is available.

Bet You Can't Go Just Once!. Awesome live band, great views, great food, and lots of people. This is the only place to be on the weekend! This place is one of a kind!

Fun in the Sun. Went here once. It was a gorgeous beach with a delicious restaurant. Best food I have had in a long time!
