Loved it. Excellent place for a casual meal and great seafood. Get there early! Ver busy but service is efficient and very friendly.

DISSAPPOINTED!!!. We visit the Clearwater area twice each year, and are always looking for a new place to eat. So, my mother-in-law suggested we try Frenchy's, and boy were we sorry! Our service was absolutely HORRIBLE! We were ignored forever. After our waiter finally delivered our food, he completely dissappeared. And, we were amazed how average the food was. Our crab cakes almost tasted like they didn't have a bit of crab in them! My mother-in-law was so embarrassed that we "wasted" a night-out there! Oh, and if you have the same problems and think about filling-out one of those "survey" cards they have on the table, don't bother. My mother-in-law and I both filled them out and have yet to hear from the place.

grouper or nothin at all. best beach side dining, best grouper sandwich, best drink prices. fit for lovers or family

Best on the Beach. Frenchy's Saltwater Cafe is far and away the best place to eat lunch, or even a nice casual dinner. Another option is to just simply place your order for take-out. You can't go wrong with a fried grouper burger or crabby shrimp sandwich with a cup of gumbo. If you are looking for some fresh seafood on Clearwater Beach, there is no where better.
