A decent place for lunch, but you won't escape the noise and clutter of Clearwater Beach.. The Scene
In the mornings and afternoons, stop here for a relaxed meal. But come after the sun goes down and this turns into a rocking bar (with live Caribbean or reggae music). Grab a table inside and enjoy the A/C, or stay outside on the smoke-filled patio as cars go rumbling past. Service can be rushed--and be aware that a 15-percent gratuity has already been added to your bill.

The Food
All the usual seafood specialties are offered, but Britt's also does nice steaks and pretty good pizzas. For a good starter, try the seafood cigars--a thin, long egg roll, stuffed with shrimp, calamari and vegetables. Alaska snow crab is served in mammoth portions, especially on Mondays when a one-pound serving goes for just $8.95. Try one of the tropical cocktails or daquiris--the drink list here is staggering.
