I have been going to this buffet for years. I starting going when i was little with my mom and now I take my boyfriend and friends with me. It has always been my favorite place for chinese. Much better than ordering in, at least here if something isn't to your liking you can go back and get something else. The sushi is a little bland without ginger and wasabi but still ok as far as sushi goes. The food is ALMOST always fresh and warm. If a tray of something gets empty the staff is usually pretty quick to refill it. I highly recomend the fried dumplings and soy sauce. The only negative I can think of at the moment is the unfriendly staff. I understand they technically are not servers and therefor do not have to be quite as friendly as a server in a high class establishment would. They tend to act extremely put-off when you ask them for anything. I was there for lunch with my mother a week or so ago and we ordered hot tea. Seeing as two of us were sitting there you would think they would bring two cups for it. Did they? No, and when I asked them for a second one it took the girl 20 minutes to bring it around. Add the fact that at check out if you pay with debit they ASK you to leave a tip for your waiter. Ummm. NO. First off I have been in the food service industry for a while now and currently work as a server and bartender. You NEVER EVER ask for a tip. PLUS honestly? They make $7 an hour. They aren't living off tips and technically why should they get one? All they do is bring you your drink and clean off the tables. Which makes them not much more than bussers. Last time I checked bussers didnt get tips. Overall if you don't mind fending for yourself and aren't looking to strike up friendlyness with the server you will love your trip here. I know I do everytime. I walk out with a belly that makes me fell like santa.
Pros: Great food and price.
Cons: The staff has the friendlyness of a pack of zombies.

wowhitme lies!! His/her post 7/21-08 is apparently done to diss a great buffet. I go there frequently and have never observed any of the nonsense that wowhitme falsely reports. The claim that the positive reviews were posted by the owner is stupid and outrageous. This place is very clean. The food is fresh and tasty. The Oriental Super Buffet has won many awards and is rated the Best of the City (Clearwater) nearly every year. Such negative reviews and outright lies demean the value of this site.
Pros: Clean. A great variety of very good tasty food. Prompt service. Reasonable price Banquet rooms available
