worst place ever. Omg this is the worst place I have ever been to! The waitress completely ignored us and we waited 15 minutes on her to come and ask us what we want to order (while restaurant was almost empty) ! She gave us water without straws and no napkins. Then we ordered an appetizer which was horrible! My veggie roll was so greasy I felt like I was swimming in oil!!! The crab mushroom tasted like dirty dry socks. Then they brought out the rice. We waited another 15 minutes for food (restaurant still empty) and our rice got COLD and then we got our meal. I asked for little spicy... I got super super (can't get any more) spicier and severely over salted food. I could taste cheap super salty soy sauce in the food while I was choking on the level of spiciness. When we tried to pay... the waitress was nowhere to be found and we actually had to get up and look for her! Just save yourself the trouble and don't ever go there!

Downhill they Go. This place used to be very good a couple years ago. Lately they have increased prices a bit, but unfortunately the quality has also rapidly declined. In addition, the service can be very poor. I have had very long waits at this small restaurant even on nights where they appeared to be slow. The food is still fair, but it used to very, very good--not so much anymore. Also, the new hostess is very hard to understand and isn't nearly as friendly as some of the other girls they have had work there previously. With the decline in food quality and sloppy, inconsistent service, this restaurant is not recommended at this point.

joan&gary. My husband and I have been going to Thai Basil for over four years now and it is our absolute favorite restaurant. The food is always fresh, delicious and plentiful. We go there at least once a week. The service is friendly and and always cheerful. We have tried other Thai restaurants in the area and while traveling and none come even close! Their best kept secret is the basil rolls - in a word - YUMMY! We always make it a point to bring friends and visitors for the best Thai food around!

$ for $ the best Thai in Pinellas County. I have been going here for a little over a year. You just can't beat the price and the food you get. Two people can eat here like kings for under $30.00 try that in Hyde Park.

Terrible Service. It was several minutes before anyone even greeted me much less take my drink or appetizer order...and there were only two other people in the restaurant! The food was okay but the service only went downhill from there.
