Worst experience in my life. I took my wife and 3 kids for dinner on Wednesday 8/17 at their East Bay location. They brought 2 of my kids the incorrect order. The server did not come back to see if everything was okay. I stopped another server and he was probably was in a bad mood. He treated me like I was not welcome. He didn't want to hear what was wrong with our food. I asked for the manager, he said he's the manager. I asked for another manager and he said I have to speak to him and there's no other manager there. It was all downhill from there, he made me feel as if we ordered the wrong food and didn't care that my kids already took a couple of bites into the meal that they didn't like. I asked for the bill and he said, don't worry about the bill, just leave. I left with my wife and kids and I called the Ulmerton location to speak with the owner. A gentleman answered and said he was the owner's son and listened to my complaint and promised me he will have his dad call me back. Well it's been a few days and didn't receive any call.



I will never go back to ANY Carmelita due to this experience.

Worst Mexican Food. Worst Mexican Food and you had to pay for crappy chips and salsa. Prices were expensive for crappy food. Avoid at all cost.

The Best In The World!!!. I have never tasted food this mouth watering Goooood!! I loved the whole dining experiance and highly recommend this well known local resturant!

The Best. I moved to Largo from Texas, it took me 4 months to find a real, honest TEX-MEX restaurant. Carmelita's is the best TEX-MEX in Florida. I highly recommend the Sour Cream Chicken Enchiladas with the Hot Verde Sauce - excellent!

A TEXAN THINKS ITS GREAT!. Originally from Texas, I've lived in the Tampa Bay area now for 15 years. I'm constantly looking for some excellent Mexican food, and if you've had it in Texas, you know what I'm talking about.

Carmelita's is the ONLY restaurant I've found in the bay area that even comes close! I love their combination dinner that includes a taco, enchilada and tostada -- these guys know how to cook enchiladas!!! A friend of mine that usually accompanies me, always tries something different and thinks they can't do anything wrong.

Go for the Green. Having moved here in '94 from New Mexico, finding Carmelita's was a real delight. Their "Enchilatas Verdes" are wonderful
