Founded in the south in the 1980s, this chain is based on the idea of offering good food and drive-through convenience. Hamburger options include a basic single-patty burger and the two-patty Big Buford. There menu also features chili dogs, chicken strips, chicken sandwiches, batter-dipped spicy fries and shakes. The red-and-white restaurants are known for having two drive-through windows and no interior seating. However, many locations offer walk-up windows and outside seating at picnic-style tables.

ummmm. It's cheap, but tastes cheap too. Don't like the coated fries.

Checktastic Burgers. They got the best food for the best price. you can get a cheese double cheese for 1.79 now but at one point it was 99 cents. Thats 2 layers of cheese and 2 pattys. They also got Champ Burger and the Bacon Champ Burger which is 2 patties and lettuce and tomato for some cheap price. I dont know i love Checkers. Its the dankest food around.

there has to be something better.. out of all the independent restaurants in the area that serve a fine burger with fresh ingredients and top-grade beef, why choose a run-of-the-mill chain restaurant where bland patties are mass produced for the unscrutinizing palate? yuck.

hot and juicy. The meal was good and hot and the burger was not dry like most places.

Don't They Ever Change The Grease??. Checker's is definitly not what it's cracked up to be. When we arrived, you could smell the old grease in the parking lot and the service we recieved was by far the worse in Pinellas Co. The girl was rude and acted as if we weren't even on the planet. Go again?? Not On Your Life.

THE BEST!!. I am originally from upstate new york and every time i go down to clearwater to visit family I absolutely can not wait to eat at checkers it is one of the best tasting fast food i must say!

super delicious. checkers burgers,apple nuggets, and shakes are the best in town. Recommend to everyone.
