Pepper Mill restaurant is now the Belleair Grill and Wine Bar. The Pepper Mill restaurant is now the Belleair Grill and Wine Bar. My girlfriends and I were there last night for a girls night out. We had an excellent meal, everything was fresh and fabulous. The service was great, the new decor looks really nice and the music is cool too. There is a cool wine bar area to hang out and order some appetizers and taste some great wines. If you havent been since it has been redone, you are really missing out.

ONE OF OUR FAVORITE RESTAURANTS!!!. My Gentleman Friend and I absolutely enjoy eating at "THE PEPPER MILL RESTAURANT at 1575 South FT HARRISON in CLEARWATER. In fact, we were hooked right after the very first time. Now, it's one of our favorite Restaurants, for it's Fne Dining at Reasonable prices in a lovely setting! (even a fireplace which they light when we have a cold snap). Actually, more people should know about what the NEW OWNER has done to make this Dining experience special and unique. We also enjoy "The Pepper Mills" Friendly Staff. Even the owner came over to each table to greet his Customers and make sure we were all well satisfied. It's little touches like this that make a big difference to a customer! Interestingly, we've never been to a Restaurant in our area that offers complimentary Stuffed Mushrooms to start your meal off. Then there is the addictive Strawberry Butter and wonderful Poppy Seed Bread that comes with Hot Rolls. We tried their Poppy Seed Dressing a few weeks ago which they make from scratch. My Gentleman Friend commented, he could make a meal of it. He even tried to con the owner out of his recipe to my horror! Then too, the Herbs they use in their Cooking are straight out of their Herb Garden! Then after we enjoyed a sumptuous meal, our Server brought over to our table two Chocolate Covered Strawberries, which were complimentary as well. It's little touches like this which make this Reastaurant unique and makes their Customers want to come back for more of the same!!! Shelby

If you haven't been lately, you really should go. This is a great neighborhood restaurant! It's been around since 1989 (it used to be THE place to go), but the owner a few years ago let it go. Fortunately about two years ago it got a new owner who has put a lot into it. The interior is much nicer than you'd think from the outside - it's got a nice little bar and a big fireplace in the main dining room.

The food is really good - great steaks and what I think are the best crab cakes anywhere - full of lump crab meat and not overly-seasoned. They also have a few pasta dishes, chicken, duck, pork, veal and some REALLY good chocolate desserts. The Chocolate Sin and the Chocolate Truffle Torte are my favorites - for serious chocolate lovers only! The wine list is really reasonable, too.

Relaxing. The atmosphere is very relaxing. The house salad dressing is delicious. We've ordered filet mignon, fried shrimp and lamb. Everything was good except the lamb.

Great Food!. I haven't been here in a few years since I had to move back North. but it was always a friendly place with excellent food, cheap prices and a relaxing atmosphere.

The bread is baked fresh and the spread is excellent!!!
