Really good experience here, the doc was kind, caring, and knew his stuff. My wife and I were very please with the services we received, our animals needed some medical attention, nothing too serious, the doc prescribed the right meds to handle to the job. It's been three weeks since our visit and the pooches are back to their old selves again. Thanks Dr. Adams! Really appreciate your help!

So thankful for Dr. Adams! My poor cat had been suffering and vomiting for weeks and I got no where with my vet so, after getting advice from a friend, I went to see Dr. Adams. My husband and I brought our girl in to see the doc, thinking that she was probably going to have to be put down, we were at our wit's end. The doc gave us wonderful news! It wasn't Holly's time to go! He was able to diagnose the problem and administer the correct treatment. It has been four weeks since see Dr. Adams and Holly hasn't thrown up once and she s back to her old self again! Looks like we'll be enjoying our girl for a while longer! I read the mixed reviews before going to this vet. I decided that most people get their panties in a wad when things don't go their way or if they are feeling guilty for not taking better care of their pets and can take that frustration out on the doctor, so I decided to visit him and see for myself. First off the staff is extremely nice, it's a small office, very clean and well maintained. Nothing extravagant in the office which lead me to believe that this vet cares more about animals than profits. I met with the Doc and he was very nice and knew what he was talking about. He had no problems answering my questions and I found him to be delightful! What a funny little Egyptian he is! My experience was great and I would recommend this vet to any and all of my friends.

Two Very Bad Experiences. Seven years ago my daughters and I took her our dogs to this "doctor'. As a single mom it was a financial hardship to do so. This "doctor' berated me in frong of my girls thay if I can not afford his overpriced meds and treatments that I should not have any pets. Note: I was married when I got the dogs so I could better afford treatment at that time but even so I was still there to take care of our beloved family members. We all left the office in tears due to his verbal abuse. Last year when I was looking for more affordable pet care, I went out of my way to make sure the coupons I was finding were not for this office. I confirmed the address was not the same and made an appointment. My stomach sank to my feet with this same "doctor" walked into the room. Still not sure if he works to offices with different names or if he sold the other practice or what the real story might be. I wanted to walk out but my new husband convinced to stay. We now have 3 dogs and getting them all there was a major feat. He was rough with our dogs and his personality is very abrasive. Of course, according to the coupon our bill should have been aroubd $250 and by the end of the visits it was nearly $700. Ten months later I tried to order the heartworm and flea meds online because this vets office prices are extremely high. The reputable online copy notified me the vet refused to cooperate so my husband contacted them. He still refused and said we had to buy from his office only! I have never had this problem with any vet's office even though I usually go to more reputable offices they have either authorized the online purchase or matched the online price. NOT THIS OFFICE! Needless to say, I won't be going back and hope you don't either. I am also looking into legal recourse. Don't just take my word for it. Read other online reviews. I just did and had I read them before I would not have subjected myself and my pets to dealing with this man or his staff.

Finally, a doc that gets it!. I took my dog in to Dr Adams because he needed his annuals and I needed his stinky skin looked at. I have been battling skin issues with this guy for quite sometime (spending money hand over fist at various other animal hospitals), and finally! I found a doctor whose medical treatment actually works! No more steroid shots for my Bogey! I am soooooo relieved to know that at last my big guy will be feeling much better thanks to the doctor and staff at Hope N Happiness. What a great group of people! The doc is a bit unorthodox but VERY effective! Thank you, Dr Adams! My family, especially our noses, thank you!!!!

Best Vet EVER!!!!!!. I found a coupon for this office and decided to take both my dogs (a chihuahua and a great dane) in to this doc for annual shots and a physical. Dr Adam was wonderful! He was polite, professional and extremely knowledgable. He spent time with me answering my questions and making sure I was completely satisfied. I am so thankful to have found Dr Adams and have made him my new permanent vet! I highly recommend his office to anyone who is short on funds but high on love for their four-legged babies!

PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THESE GUYS!!!. IF YOU LOVE YOUR DOG OR CAT YOU WILL NOT TAKE THEM TO THIS MID EVIL SO CALLED VET. HE HURT MY DOG 3 TIMES IN LESS THAN A 15 MINUTE EXAM. HE IS DIRTY AND USES TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT THAT ARE FOR LARGE DOGS. HE IS NOT A GOOD VET AND I AM NOT SAYING THIS BECAUSE THE SERVICE WAS BAD BUT BECAUSE I RECODED THE VISIT AND EVERY-TIME I LISTEN TO HIM TRYING TO GET MONEY OUT OF ME BEFORE HELPING MY DOG IT MAKES ME SO ANGRY AND I WANT OTHER PEOPLE TO SAVE THE PAIN THAT MY SMALL DOG WENT THROUGH.

I took my dog in to see this rip off, dirty and very rude so called vet. I left with NO ANSWERS and when I asked him what he thought was wrong with her, he said and I quote, "HOW ARE YOUR FINANCES? HOW ARE YOU GOING TO PAY ME?"

I HAVE THIS RECORDED ON MY PHONE. I STARTED RECORDING THE VISIT WHEN I FELT THAT SOMETHING WAS NOT RIGHT. HE HURT HER UNNECESSARILY THREE TIMES DURING THE EXAM, HE WALKED OUT OF THE ROOM 8X AND DID ONE TEST THEN TOLD ME TO COME BACK WHEN I HAD MONEY TO DO MORE TESTS. HE COULD NOT AGAIN I QUOTE"GIVE ME A BOOK IN ONE VISIT, HE COULD ONLY TELL ME MORE WHEN I RETURN WITH $200 FOR 1 XRAY.

I LEFT AFTER PAYING $109.00 FOR NO ANSWER, TWO FOUR DOLLAR MEDICATIONS AND PAID $50 FOR THEM, WHEN I ASKED HIM TO WRITE THE SCRIPT SO I COULD FILL SOMEWHERE ELSE HE AGREED ONLY IF I PAY HIM $25.00 FOR EACH SCRIPT WRITTEN. HE SAID "IT'S NOT THE MEDICINE YOU PAYING FOR, IT'S THE BRAIN OF WHO WROTE THEM" WHAT A QUACK.

i CAN'T BELIEVE I WENT THERE IN DESPERATION, MY DOG WAS HURT AND HAD TOOLS USED FOR EXTRA LARGE DOGS TO CHECK HER POOP, IT WAS THE SIZE OF SOMETHING THAT WOULD BARELY FIT IN HER BOTTOM AND HE SHOVED IT IN MAKING HER CRY SO BAD. HE THEN PUT THE POOP ON A DIRTY COUNTER TO ALLOW THE BACTERIA TO GET IN IT SO HE COULD TELL ME SHE HAD AN INFECTION. I went to another vet who did this the right way and she DOES NOT HAVE an infection, it was his dirty, or filthy counter that was infected.

PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE MONEY AND THE PAIN OF YOUR BEST FRIEND. DON'T TAKE THEM HERE, HE IS ONLY WANTING TO MAKE AS MUCH MONEY AS HE CAN IN EACH VISIT.

I PROMISE THAT THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE EVER TAKEN TIME TO WRITE A REVIEW BUT IT IS BECAUSE I AM SO DISGUSTED WITH THE PRACTICES I SAW AND HAVE RECORDED, I AM GOING TO TAKE THE RECORDING TO A LAWYER AND SEE IF HE CAN HELP ME NOW THAT I HAVE PROOF THAT THESE DIRT BAGS EXISTS.

Should be banned from practicing medicine. This person has changed their last name due to the number of lawsuits pending for malpractice. This person has questionable credentials and demonstrates an obvious negligence for standards of veterinary practice. Does not follow basic patient care such as proper anesthesia and subjects animals to torturous procedures such as abdominal surgery while awake or chemically restrained but able to feel pain. Lack of sterile technique, such as using dirty surgical instruments, has been observed which puts patients at risk of infections. Do not patron this business if you have the health and welfare in mind for your pet.

Nearly killed my puppy!! Stay Away!!. Don't go to this vet because of "discount" coupons!! I brought my two dogs there for exams and shots. He never examined them, and had big needles ready when I came in the room. My little chihuahua was a bloody mess when he finished giving him shots. That was only the beginning. When I brought him home, he was violently sick and burning up. I worried and cried all night. Brought him back with a fever and lethargy the next day. He looked at him and told me to put him down on the floor because he was too hot, and everything was fine. I brought my dog to another vet, who said he probably gave my baby the injection meant for my bigger dog, who was muzzled immediately, even though she is 14 years old and the most gentle animal ever. Also, gave me the same story as other review, the charge on the coupon was only for the tag! I ended up paying 426.00! The place is filthy as well. Should have followed my instincts and left before he injected my animals. Thank God they survived this quack. Interestingly, he has changed his name a few times...wonder why???? If you love your animals, stay away from him and go to Bluffs Animal hospital.

Save yourself lots of money & STAY AWAY!!!!!!!. This guy is an absolute rip off and down right RUDEI was lured into using this vet with a coupon that was extremely reasonable compared to what I was quoted from other animal hospitals. If I had actually gotten what the coupon said it still wouldn't of been worth it. I went in with a coupon for my puppy's second set of vaccines which was suppose to include a rabies shot. I was told to come back in two weeks for the second dewormer and the next visit he would give the rabies (I didn't really think to question it figuring he probably had a good reason). The coupon was for $49 and I paid a total of $140 that day.

I came back the following week and was charged for the rabies vaccine. When I questioned him, I was told that it was only the tag I had paid for and I would need to pay an additional amount for the actual vaccine. I also never received a second de-wormer and when I questioned why, I was told that he gave it to him! I was with my dog the entire time and he was never given the yellow paste. When I asked him, he acted like I knew nothing and left he room. I left that day with a $120 bill.

Not only is this place a complete rip off, I don't even think this "vet" likes animals and he was extremely rude to us. I have been to many many bad vets, but this one tops the list! The office is unkempt and EXTREMELY unprofessional. STAY AWAY!!! Save yourself the money and the hassle!
