I began looking at new software in 2008
when I began to want to improve the documentation of my patient visits. I looked at many different software offerings and settled upon EON Systems' Documentor (the SOAP note and narrative writing component of The Digital Office) because of its ability to customize a note to how I wrote.
I love the fact that I can toggle between Documentor and Document Solution (the document storage and management component of The Digital Office) when producing reports such as Personal Injury Narratives. This combination has cut down the time it takes me to do a narrative or other types of reports or even prescriptions. The Practice Solution (the billing and scheduling component of The Digital Office) also integrates and shares information between the other two softwares so that I do not have to log into an additional piece of software to get simple information such as a diagnosis code.
Using EON Systems' The Digital Office has streamlined our office. We can see more patients with less staff and reduced office overhead, and it has a bottom line return.
The Practice Solution has been a very stable practice management software and we have not had any problems with doing electronic billing. I have been doing electronic billing for well over 10 years and this has probably been the easiest platform in which to perform billing.
Documentor: A time saver every time!.
Training was great. Documentor is awesome. It's a time saver every time. If I see 40 patients in a day, it takes me 30 minutes a day to do all my notes for the day. With the randomization (not canned text others say it is and it's really not) gives you the freedom and allows very wide-open random and specialized notes. Not hard to do customized services. With the randomization I can do a same service note that looks different every time in 10 seconds and a full randomized note in 30 seconds.
Another thing I like is that it has so much customization you can tell my notes apart from the other offices that use EON Systems in this town.
TPS fine, documentor NO..
I've been using TPS for 3 years and it's a great billing system. There is a learning curve with all of them, but it allows you to do almost anything.
Since I was pleased with TPS, if thought that DOCUMENTOR AND DOCUMENT SOLUTION would be a good addition since we were looking into EMR.
It's great if you see 10 patients per day, but if you see more than that, it's probably best if you don't buy a tablet and stick with your regular "travel card" and update your notes on your breaks.
Document solution is great, but for some reason the x-rays that are suppose to be visible on "DOCUMENTOR" notes, don't seem to show up in the notes.
Now that my tech support has expired, they won't make any suggestions on how to fix it unless I pay another $120/hr or get tech support for each individual program.
In retrospect I should have just purchased EZ notes or some other basic notes program and saved $$ on a system that doesn't work well for 50 or more patients per day.
EON Systems Has Outstanding Tech Support. We started with EON Systems software right out of the gate, and we feel fortunate in our choice as we have not had to make any changes to our electronic practice needs in the 10 years we have been in business. The tech support has always been outstanding and as a company they have always grown with the times; they're never stagnant.
EON Systems has easy software!.
EON Systems' Practice Solution software gets me out of here, so I don't have to hang around finishing my billing. It's only takes me two minutes to get my billing for the whole week done. :-)
With EON Systems' Documentor software: All of it is easy. I can also change things to say what I want it to say. The biggest thing is it saves me time.
I run a chiropractic office using EON Systems' software--The Practice Solution. EON Systems billing and scheduling software is fantastic and makes my job so much easier and we've even seen a huge increase in collections as a result of implementing it. As a user of this billing and scheduling software (The Practice Solution), I must say that EON Systems' training procedures to get off the ground we tailored to exactly what I needed. Most of the time I felt like a complete VIP through out the entire process. They provided a full electronic help manual, videos of the features in the program, a training workbook and a personal training consultant to guide me all the way through, we got up and running fast. Once learned, it is so quick to use that the front desk can easily concentrate on serving the customers, not battling with software. Even the docs got the hang of it quickly! And that's saying something!
The insurance follow up and scheduler capabilities are my favorite! I save so much time! Billing and follow up is easy, patients and their schedules are easily tracked. What more could I ask for? I run the entire office myself and EON's software is what makes it possible. It was not possible with our previous program. I can only imagine the money the doctor is saving in payroll alone, never mind increased collections.
The Tech support staff are very professional and very helpful. In fact, I found that because I took the best advantage of the training that I hardly need any tech support.

I have been working at EON Systems for close to four years. This is one of those unusual companies where the owners care about you and help you to be successful. The owners and staff care deeply about the clients and work like mad to help them be successful with EON software.

WORST SOFTWARE & SERVICE...E-V-E-R!!!.
Aside from LOSING THOUSANDS, getting "service" from incompetant tecchies (most of whom left the company), the documentation program is a JOKE!
Frozen laptop, poor or non-existant printing, improper grammer and syntax....the list goes on and on!!
Now, when attempting, to secure a refund.....they at first will put you (me!) off long enough to be "past the deadline", then tell you to "talk to their attorney".
I just wish I would have done more searching online, as I now find I am among NUMEROUS OTHERS with the same complaints!!!
LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR YOUR SOFTWARE NEEDS....AS I WILL BE!!!
My small center is now out thousands of dollars, with a program that I cannot use-will not work, and EON SYSTEMS TREATS THEIR CUSTOMERS LIKE THIS!!!
