Phil Reed. I was referred to Phil Reed by a friend that works in the industry. I called the salon and was told that he was unavailable the dates/times I was looking to be seen but I could see another stylist. I was in dire need of hair attention so I decided to book the appt with this stylist as the salon had great reviews on its own. I made mention of this to my friend and she told me to contact the salon, cancel that appt and ask to be given Phil’s # to contact him directly. I’m so glad I did!!!! He accommodate me to get me in to be seen and I have been a religious client of his every 6 weeks ever since & I of course followed him to his now current location. Cancelling that appointment and calling him was the best thing I have ever done for my hair!!!

Philip Reed is the BEST!!!. He has been cutting & coloring my hair for nearly 3 years now. I can't tell you how many times I have been asked who does your hair?! Philip Reed...the best there is!!!

PHIL REED. When I was asked to relocate from NYC to Tampa, one of my main concerns was leaving my fabulous hair stylist so far behind!! I have been to every salon touted as the "best" either through advertisement and or recommendations and have each time come up disappointed. No longer, I have found my FOREVER stylist and his name is PHIL REED!! My hair hasn't looked this AMAZING since I left home!! He is professional, attentive and a breath of fresh air to his industry and as an added bonus and with much surprise (but no complaints of course) his prices are more than reasonable. He is certainly a permanent number in my phone list!!!!!!

Thank You Phil!!. I have been going to Phil for my cut & color for just shy of 2 years now and I can't imagine anyone else cutting or coloring my hair. He does an absolute amazing job!!

Phil Reed is EXCELLENT!. I have been going to Phil for 3 years now (followed him to his own salon, which is awesome and located conveniently in downtown St. Pete) and couldn't be more happy about my hair color and cut.

I can faithfully trust Phil's judgment with my hair and feel totally comfortable telling Phil to do "what he thinks would be best." In three years, I have yet to be disappointed. My friends loved my hair so much that they all wanted to go to Phil as well - and I don't believe I have a friend now who doesn't go to Phil to get their hair colored and cut (that is another 8 girls who give him two thumbs up!).

I absolutely recommend Phil Reed as an EXCEPTIONAL hairdresser. Not only will you love your cut and color, but you'll have a great experience getting it done - Phil is a joy to talk to and quite funny as well.

If you're looking for a great cut and awesome color, look no further than Phil.

Style was age appropriate and easy to maintain...If you have any doubts about what you want, just ask Phillip!

Philip Reed Best Hairstylist in Tampa / St Pete / Clearwater. I have been going to Philip for a year now and I am so glad I found him. I had been referred to him by a friend and read previous Citysearch reviews and decided to book a consult. Before him I was searching, like you, for that special stylist that could see what it was that I wanted and deliver in terms that work best for me and my hair. He has met that need and exceeded. Not only does he give me what I've envisioned, but he sees what I may have missed and makes it better---for me. It's due in part to the fact that before each and every session, he will sit you down and consult with you about what you are looking to achieve. I have recommended many of my friends to him and they too are now happy loyal clients. You wil not find any stylist in this and the surrounding areas that can deliver not only amazing results with the cut and color services he provides but the level of service and professionalism that he no doubt makes a priority for you and your salon experience. He is always pleasant and makes you feel at home in his chair with his humble and down to earth personality. The conversations are always great and his sense of humor and whit are sure to keep you entertained. Make the appointment now...he truly is the best around!!

Best in the bay. After many years of searching for a good hair stylist, by luck I went to see Phil. He's is the best by far. I've been going to him for almost 4 years now. He keeps things simple and never over does it. I recommend him whenever I can. Go see Phil!

Philip Reed is the best hair designer in St. Pete...... I wouldn't let anyone else cut my hair. I would rather have split ends and roots before I would go to someone else. Not only do I look amazing when I get out of his chair, but I can replicate the style when I do it myself. That never happens!

You may read in other reviews that the salon is not "high end" or that the price is "cheap".....neither of those word describe the service, personal attention, CUT and Color you will get. Besides, I like Phil better at this salon, he's more chill and the conversations are a riot!

If you are looking for a stylist, go see Phil. You will not be disappointed. Just don't take my appointment!

Reed Ninja. The Reeds always do things the right way. While Phil may have fallen the furthest from the Reed tree, he didn't fall too far. We love him here in Buffalo and miss the entire family. Keep in touch Reeds and best of luck - CALL US!!!!
