Located in downtown St. Petersburg, this family-owned business specializes in antique and estate fine jewelry. It's been around since Ron Gilbert's dad, Jerome, opened the doors back in 1946. No hard sell tactics here. But do expect to be asked what you're looking for and what price range you want to stay in. Also expect to be educated in the fine art of rare gems.

Behind the Glass
Diamonds, emeralds, rubies, opals, and other rare stones make up this store's eye candy under glass. Estate, which means pre-owned, also means that Gilbert's deals in antique jewelry, from Victorian to nouveau.
