The Scene
Practically every table overlooks the harbor, dubbed "Hurricane Hole." Boats hum out to sea; birds infest the leafy shore. Just sitting on the deck inspires a hunger for seafood. The restaurant has a couple of great bars filled with everyone from businesspeople to tourists, in part because of a notably friendly staff.
The Food
The specialty is stone crab claws and seafood, but the kitchen is versatile, offering good chicken and steak dishes, too. The stone crab claws--sweet, tender and delicious--are in season from October through May. Order them hot or cold, with melted butter or mustard sauce. Light eaters can get a half-pound (about four claws,) while those with hearty appetites will want a few pounds. For diners who don't crave seafood, the grouper sandwich or fried chicken are good alternatives. Smooth, tangy Key lime pie in a buttery, thick crust is the perfect finish to any meal.

We have eaten here numerous times and always come back for the stone crab claws! Tonight we had the Jumbo stone crab claws and they were excellent!! Very fresh! I would highly recommend this place!

Went just once. Never again. Stone crabs were frozen (even in season) and tasteless, everything fried. Despite being very crowded, service was excellent. A tourist trap.
Pros: Great waitress
Cons: Frozen seafood, Food fried, breaded, No reservations
