A huge store filled with mazes of towering bookshelves loaded with new and used volumes: Haslam's is the serious bookworm's paradise.. Size Does Matter
If you can't find a book here, you probably won't find it anywhere. Take your time browsing through two large rooms filled with a wide but more-or-less standard selection of current titles. If for no other reason than its size, Haslam's is probably the best place in the area to sell used books in good condition.

Bottom Line
Bargain hunters will be amply rewarded. If the shiny, new books are looking just a bit out of your budget, Haslam's has about eleven zillion used books of just about every description (plus some herbal remedies and health products).

Paradise Found
Plan on spending some time, and some money. You may not want to leave, and you definitely won't want to leave empty-handed. It's absolute paradise for a book-loving browser (or a browsing book-lover). A true Tampa Bay area landmark.
