5 Star Reviews by Owners/family??

Decent pizza -- well, better than PH, Dom, and PJ, but pricey. Prices should be more competitive, This restaurant either has 1 star or 5 stars. Interestingly, the 5 star reviews are written often on the same day (is this a coincidence?) and by someone who has only written one review. Is it reasonable to think they are written by insiders?

Best Italian EVER!!!

I rated this restaurant a five star. The ratings here say a 5 star means "Run, don't walk". I say RUN to Portofino for a great meal.

The family style dining is the best. We had some friends in from out of town and we all wanted something different. Everyone was happy with their choices and entree's. There was so much food we had a great Sunday brunch with the left overs. Mike and Anna are owners and made great suggestions and became part of our family on the first night we were there.

If we don't see them each week and visit over a glass of wine and a good meal, we feel something is missing.

We love you Mike and Anna. Thanks for opening your kitchen to our family and friends. See you this week!!!

I Love this place ! you will too !

I don't like shrimp ! I don't like any seafood in my pasta ! BUT... After my sister forced me to try the lemon franchise with shrimp, OMG ! I love it ! and the muscles again, OMG !

first i dipped the bread in the juice because i knew i wouldn't like it. but OMG ! I then got the nerve to actually try a muscle on the bread... now i eat it often and I must say... If you never been to Portofino, try something you never had before. you will love it. and bring the kids, they will love the personal pizza's. tell them George sent you, lol

that won't get you anything... But, it would be funny.

Take it from experience

The first clue to good Italian Ristorante, is.. Are the owners Italian? Well the answer in this case is YES. I might not be able to type very well but i do know good food when i eat it ! I am 74 years old and I have eaten in a lot of joints in my life and this place is one of my favorites. the wine, bread and salad, then the main course whatever I choose is always a delightful evening. I have been coming here for over 15 years and God willing , I hope to return another 15 years. you will love it !

Cant wait to go back!

Yes, 5 out of 5 stars for Portofino!! I have to say that the entire experience from the greeting when I walked thru the door to the delicious meal, wine and dessert were an absolute treat. The Restaurant has a very warm family like feel. The staff .....all smiles and friendly which I have to say is very refreshing to the "corporate dining" experience. We were quite a big party dining and the food was served promptly and hot with LOVE. I was able to sample some of my parties dishes from the pizza to the pasta and meat sauce ALL DELICIOUS! Cant wait to go back!
