OK.... The sushi was ok. The restaurant was not nicest but it was better than the sushi. Over all it was not bad, but defenatly not the best I've had! I did'nt have any of their dinner's so I can't say anything about that... but the best thing about my experience at Kinjo's was their service. Also, I can find must more reasonably priced sushi elsewhere.

Best sashimi. Here we get the best sashimi - outside of Japan.

We have lived for some months in Japan, and we go to Japan, mostly for the food.

Sashimi demands the best quality fish, and Kinjo's knows, and serves a fantastic dish, Sashimi A.

A must. I am a native of St. Pete, but live in NE Asia, which is famous for sushi/sashimi. However, it is very hard to find a place here of the same quality and affordable price as Kinjo's. Though my trips home are brief, they never are without a trip to Kinjo's.

Best shushi bar! Delicious Food, Friendly service, Resonable. Looking for a Japanese restaurant to have great time with your family? Look no more! Kinjo restaurant is the place you want to be. I had been a customer at Kinjo since 1999. I had been to the major cities in the U.S. such as San Francisco, New York, L.A., Houston, Atlanta, San Jose-CA. I love shushi, therefore I tried different Japanese restaurant when I travel. I demand the best shushi bar. None, can compare to Kinjo! On several occations, I travel to the Far East, I stayed at Nikko hotel in Osaka. It was a five stars hotel. I was hungry and craving for sashimi. I told myself, why not try it here. My experience, Can't compare to Kinjo. One time I had visited Singapore, I tried shushi bar there. My experience, Kinjo is superb quality and surpass them all.

I go to Kinjo way before I was married. When I am married, took my wife to Kinjo, she had never eat sushi before, but after a couple of time, she love it. We go there at least 1 week. Now I have three kids, they all love Kinjo Restaurant.

Kinjo's Japanese Restaurant...Something for Everyone :). Everything is special at Kinjo"s, starting with the proprieter himself. Kinjo is St. Petersburg's personal "Iron Chef" but better. Under Kinjo's guidence, I never feel stress coming from the staff. As soon as you walk through the door you are greeted by smiling faces and are taken care of as if you are the only diners in the place. We usually sit at the Sushi Bar but if you are seated at a table Linda keeps the floor organised and flowing and you are never left without something to munch on in front of you. I worked in the business for many years and this is not an easy task, especially when the chefs are right out in front of you!

The food is ALWAYS fresh which is critical when it comes to Sushi and Sashimi. If you prefer something cooked, the menu does not lack cuisine to delight even the most discerning palate. The noodles are superb and as you continue to slurp and the ingredients meld, the flavor is constantly changing as if by magic. Even something that many gourmands would not consider trying like a "simple" Tempura would change their opinion of the dish once they've tried it. The batter is so light I don't know how it stays on; and the presentation is both simple and elegant with an edible garnish of batter dipped mixed veggies.

Want something different? Just ask Kinjo to surprise you, you will never be disappointed. I could go on but you're just going to have to go try it for yourself, just in case for some strange reason you haven't made it there yourself. New to town maybe? Oh yeah, did I mention the beautiful wood carvings......

Good sushi with good price!. Maybe people can find many good decoration and good quality Japanese food around Tampa, but Kinjo is the restaurant of combination of good food and nice price. I am not saying that everything is perfect, but Kinjo sushi always makes me come back. The taste is unique and lovely decoration in the small dish of sushi or even in a big boat. Wishing have time to come every week! Also the kitchen food is tasteful and good smell. Worth to try!
