A++++++++++++ All The Way!!!. At Arigato Japanese Steak House, the food is excellent, the service is exceptional, and the meals are reasonably priced considering the overall experience and the portions. The dipping sauces, salad dressing, and Japanese Egg Rolls are incredible!

The hot towels handed out to customers before the meal are a nice concept, the Miso soup is next and absolutely delicious. The salad is crisp with fresh tomatoes and cucumbers and the ginger dressing is the best I’ve ever had! I usually order the Shogun or Sumo for dinner and my wife loves the Chicken Arigato. We dine at this fine restaurant at least 6 times a year…and we’ve NEVER had a bad meal or a disappointing experience!

Best restaurant for all occasions. Fund dining for family and friends. The waiters are experts at designing unique take home containers from foil: flowers, animals, swordsman etc. Birthday cake was better than expected. Now the yummie and goodie sause is available to take home and enjoy. Bosco

Arigato Japanese Steak House St.Pete Food and service is good but WAY overpriced. Restaurant is dirty. The food is great but extremely over priced! The average meal is around $20... that's for rice veggies and chicken. They offered a free $20 gift certificate with the purchase of a $100 in gift certificates, catch is the special $20 gift card can't be used with any other coupons or the regular gift certificates I paid cash for! If the $100 in gift certificates are like cash they why can't they be used. They don't post that on the sign or tell you that when you purchase it. You have to read the gift certificates after they've already been paid for. The staff is friendly but the management is not. The walls are dirty and disgusting. If they turned the lights up brighter I doubt anyone would ever eat there. They also offer a frequent diners club where you earn points towards gift certificates but twice now my points haven't been credited. The economy is doing terrible and this place is jacking up prices and ripping people off.

Overpriced & Disappointing. This place is not going on our list. I guess that is why they filed bankkruptcy? Do not waste your time or money with this place. Next time I will stay at home!

not at all customer-friendly owners. We, a family of 4, went to dinner bringing the coupon that says 2 dinners for $19.99. We ordered dinners that costs between 19.99 and 25.99. We also waited in the bar, spending about $50, to be seated after 8:15 p.m.. It was time specified by the coupon. The restaurant did not honor the coupon because we didn't order 2 dinners of $19.99 of chicken terriyaki. The manager was afraid to make a decision to honor the coupon because the owners would take it out of his paycheck, as they have done once before. This restaurant has lost us as future customers and we are telling people the owners does not know how to run a customer-friendly restaurant.

Large portions & great service. I take my daughters there on each of their birthdays every year. The food is excellent, the portions are large, and the service is great. The cooks are personable and well trained and put on a great show. But the building is old and dingy, almost dirty looking, and they can run out of parking on very busy nights. They have a Rewards Club now for frequent diners. A fun place to dine. They also have an elevator to the second floor if the street level fills up. They also have a bar area while you wait.

I love it ! The best food, service, and ambience!!. This is a fantastic place to take family, a group of friends, or even for a fun and romantic night out with your loved one! Since my first time going there years ago, it keeps getting better and better! I'm so excited that THEY HAVE A TO GO MENU NOW! I tried it a couple of days ago and was beyond impressed! I love my steak rare, and was worried it might be too cooked and cold by the time I got home. Well, it was fantastic! The steak was just as tender as if I had had it at the restaurant! The veggies, and rice were also perfectly cooked! It was FANTASTIC! By far the best to go experience I've ever had!!

Delicious!!!. This is by far my favorite restaurant! The steak is always so tender and delicious, and the cooks are very entertaining. For all our birthday and anniversary dinners, we go to Arigato!

Can't get enough!. Arigato's is a great place to go for a special occasion or for any occasion. Keeps the kids (and kids at heart) entertained with the chefs cooking right before your eyes and foil animals made of the leftovers.
