A Diamond in the Rough.
When most of us think of a dinner associated with friendly staff, authentic cuisine, and well trained chefs we all think of an expensive and overly priced resaturant with portions that never measure up to the pictures in the menu.
Edo is, by all means, a diamond in the rough. Its located in a shopping plaza that has seen better days and looks very mediocre from the outside. However, once you enter this lovely restaurant you'll be greeted by a friendly hostess and be treated to a very entertaining and fantastic dinner.
I recently discovered this place as apart of a friend's birthday dinner and I had a blast! We ate delicious sushi along with food cooked right in front of you! I was shocked at how such a great place can be overlooked! I've been back a few times with some friends and the food has been amazing!
Its a great place to chill at a sushi bar or just go to the hibachi side for a dinner and show. The price is great compared to the taste and portion sizes so I highly recommend this place to everyone! This place seems to work well with both a few friends or your entire family. I will definitely be back for their volcano roll!
GREAT FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY.
This was a very ,very, good meal. we ordered and the chef
came out and cooked our dinner right in front of us. My 2 year old neice and 6 year old nefew were just speechless.
They didnt take their eyes of our chef even once. Usually they need a movie or game to be entertained while our dinner is prepared but they were mezmerized even the adults enjoyed watching our dinner being made very cool!
Prices are reasonable and wait staff is very friendly.
great place for the entire family
Great Japanese Dinners. This is where I like to take the family on my birthday. It's in a shopping center but has great atmosphere once you are inside with a sushi bar and a dining area. The food is excellent, large portions and the service in good. They give you a free dinner (up to $12, I think) on your birthday. My family enjoys it very much; the cooks are well trained and entertaining. Plenty of parking and I have never had to wait long here (10 minutes max) even without reservations. We will be back!
Editorial Review. Colorful paper lanterns provide a festive mood at this laid-back spot that serves traditional Japanese fare including multiple vegetarian-friendly items.
