The final cut!!. A good or fantastic steak dinner can only happen when the filet is cut expertly. Jimmy Spoto has been in the restaurant bussiness since I moved to St.Pete in 1976 and, he was probably in business before that.

I ordered a filet and it was nothing short of sensational.Look out Berns; this place is better. The meat was so succulent and tasteful; I didn't even need my knife to cut it. Ambience was warm and inviting. The service was first rate and helpful. Jimmy knows a thing or two about making great side dishes to compliment your main course. ST.Petersburgs best and foremost eatery.....SPOTO'S!!!!!

Ambience is Wonderful! Intimate! Food is Great!. Great Service! Only use Black Angus Beef so the steaks etc. are wonderful. The bread with seasoned oil for dipping is the opener and it is so good that it's hard to remember to keep room for your meal! Great seafood and great desserts. My only disappointment is that they no longer have a creamed spinach that was made with nutmeg...now, it's just a typical creamed spinach. Also, the selection of appetizers were not that appealing but everything else is simply WONDERFUL! No reservations for parties under 6 so get there early on weekends. Oh yes, they also have an AWESOME early bird menu with a great selection and great prices.

Best French Onion soup around. They have the best French Onion soup in town. It always comes out really hot (a big plus in my book, it is soup, it should be hot) with lots of imported cheese oozing over the entire bowl. The have a good tuna appetizer as well. Like the bread but I've had better, but hey, I'm not here for the bread anyway!

10. We go to the one in Dunedin. Great bar, great food and great atmosphere. Steaks are cooked perfectly everytime.
