In business since 1937, this old-fashioned candy shop satisfies sweet cravings with home-made creamy fudge, salt-water taffy's and hand-dipped chocolates.
Best ice cream you will ever put in your mouth!!
by snorris292
I have been going to this place since 1995 and I must say it's the best ice cream I have eaten anywhere in this country. It is a small mom and pop where you get excellent service along with great eats. Everything here is homemade and the price to helping ratio is unbeatable!! People say the parking is not very good but you can park 50 yards away at the church, I mean are you here for the parking or the goodies?? Trust me, the walk will be more then worth it.
- Cons: longer lines in the summer (but worth it!), parking (more available 50 yards away)
The best little store on the beach
by marybeth52
You receive great customer service, family owned, great tasting ice cream and all kinds of candy from the great old days. A Nostalgic store. Great quantity for the money.
Parking isn't too great, but it is a nice walk from a motel or the beach shops at John's Pass in Madiera Beach.
- Pros: Quality, Service, Quaint
- Cons: parking
