Great experience. We saw the commercial and thought let check out this steakhouse. Food was awesome and freshly prepared. Great bang for you buck. I enjoyed the ribeye and my wife loved the lamb shank. They even have 2 for 1 drink specials. The service was great; they go out of their way to make sure all is well. I was our first time and we will definitely be back!!
steak.
horrible food and service. waiter brought appetizer, salad, soup all at the same time,
asked for tea three times.baked potatoe cold.
would never go back.
Long wait even after reservations. If you're starving don't even bother. Saturday made 6:15pm reservations still waiting for a table. Not by myself, I wouldnof left 5 minutes after my reservation. Looks like 7:00pm for a table, just my luck.
Exceptional Value. Have lived in St. Petersburg for over 15 years and always drove by Pasadena Steakhouse. Finally decided to give it a try. Was very impressed by the early dinner prices. For only $11.95 I got the prime rib with potato, vegetables, and a salad. Everything was incredible and fresh. The prime rib melts in your mouth. And 2 for 1 happy hour until 7 p.m.! Will most certainly be back.
User review by pipingscot. For marvelous food, outstanding service and a nifty bartender (Jen), I would recommend the Pasadena to anyone and everyone! Their chef certainly knows how to prepare and plate exceptional lamb dishes and, if you go away hungry after any of their meals, that's absolutely your own fault! The smallish bar gives an air of intimacy and the staff makes you feel as if you're their favorite customer.
Excellent Experience. I enjoyed dinning at the Pasadena Steak House. The food was exceptional, especailly the blacken prime rib and lobster combo. The ambience was beautiful and romantic. The service was prompt. The wine was reasonably priced.
Near the beach, this popular steakhouse serves standard fare bolstered by good service and a pleasant setting..
The Scene
It's not on the water; it doesn't sit atop the Pier; it's not Bern's. But the Pasadena is favored by locals because it's nearby, consistent and treats its customers well. Inside, the decor looks German, with dark wood and big red leather booths providing a cozy respite from noise and sun. Nothing fancy, just solid, steady and predictably good.
The Food
The menu features typical American dishes, like filet mignon, prime rib and various salads and sandwiches.
What to Order
Start with the unusually well-done Caesar salad, move to a simple, charbroiled steak--rare. (The chef tends to overcook the meat, so tell them exactly how you would like your steak.) Finish with a chocolate sundae and coffee.
