Thank you Mark and William...I walked in to Bad to the Bone fully expecting to drop $700 - $800 for a new stereo system for a brand new car that had what I thought was a crappy stereo and speaker system....little did I know that the settings were messed up and only needed to be re-adjusted. Bad to the Bone saved me a chunk of change and gained a new tinting customer!

Emplyoing the "Break It & Deny It Method". They are not jovial or friendly or even particularly polite or respectful to customers; but I’ve come to accept that from businesses in this part of Florida. Yes, I understand they likely deal with numerous unruly customers, liars, and other assorted problems but I'm not convinced that gives them license to be generally disrespectful, discourteous, and generally unfriendly to customers.

Evidence exists of an unhappy working environment for the installers and other employees, who seem to regard those in charge with such contempt that I felt uncomfortable just BEING there. It makes me wonder how they remain in business; perhaps not enough competition?

This is important: UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU TAKE YOUR CLASSIC CAR TO THEM FOR ANYTHING… They will cause minor damage to parts which you will not be able to find (except at great expense). They embody the worst nightmare a car collector can encounter, and they do not care... you are simply revenue to them.

Not only did they cause damage (broken plastic tabs on trim, stripped screws), but their installation work was barely passing at best, with loose fit and questionable alignment. I would have expected this type of workmanship from my local Wal-Mart or shade-tree installer from a Craigslist ad... but not from a place pretending to be professional.

The damage they did, although mostly hidden, is unacceptable. Even my request to mitigate the damage they did was met with cold disdain and allegations that I was lying about it. Disgusting.

BE WARNED: DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THEM UNLESS YOU’RE WILLING TO ACCEPT DAMAGE (WHICH THEY WILL DENY THEY CAUSED). It’s just not worth the conflict.

best in town. I went to Bad to the Bone for the first time in January of this year. I had them install subs, an amp and radio. they accomplished this task flawlessly and in a timely manner. I have since been back to get a 2 way remote start alarm that works perfectly with no flaws in any of their work. I would highly recommend BTTB to any body looking to get any thing done to their vehichle.

A sad case... As a St. Pete resident I have always driven past Bad to the Bone, but until this year had no need for their services. After purchasing a Ford Expedition this spring, I called them in order to get a quote on various head units and other electronics options for my truck. I spoke with an employee who promised to conduct some research and get back to me with prices. They never did. I ended up purchasing my unit from another company (A $1,800 purchase with install) and was amazed that Bad to the bone never took the time to try and earn my business. Last month I again called them inquiring into a quote for the purchase and install of a high end Grille guard for my truck. Again, the employee promised to call me back with a quote, and again, I never heard back from them. I can't imagine that the owner knows his employees are blowing off customers like this, but at this point I don't care. I will not be offering any further business to Bad to the Bone as they obviously have no motivation to make sales. Instead I'll offer my business to other local businesses who care about building relationships and making sales. A sad case in today's economy....

Great Experience. I stopped in today to get a new stereo installed. I was greeted immediately, and explained everything I needed. I was quoted a price that was $20+ dollars cheaper than Best Buy. I literally was in and out in about 30 minutes. They were professional and checked with me every step of the way. The ran down warranty options and it was smooth. I was recommended by a friend, and I am definitely glad I went here.

I didnt need an appointment or anything. I would make sure to call ahead and see what kind of wait you might have! I didn't have a wait though!!

Professional and excellent.

Bad To The Bone Auto Is The Best. I was looking for a sub box for my Dodge, after going to several car stereo shops in the area and being disapointed with there prices and selection I was recomended to go to bad To The Bone Auto. I picked up a MTX sub box with an amp. While I was there I also had them install a remote start alarm that pages me. I was exreamly pleased with the service, the price and the knowledgable staff. The owner Leo runs a tight ship but I guess that is what it takes to be on that side of town and be successful. He definitely knows his stuff and he has passed that down to his staff. I would reccomend this place to anyone. Leo and staff, thanks again for all your help and keep up the great work.

Craig, St. Pete

This place is run by a criminal. The man who owns this business has spent decades flouting the law. He has numerous violations for boating without the proper equipment; other violations for ignoring city codes; many more for traffic violations. He knows that the tinting he is installing is illegal; he knows the car horns he installs are illegal; and he knows that the people who install the subwoofers he sells are going to use them illegally. This cat has gotten fat by selling stuff that puts other people in jeopardy or pain. His business should be avoided like the plague.

Excelelnt Service Provided. The Staff was great to work with and completed the work (installing my GPS, Sirius Radio and Car Alarm) without too much waiting time. The price was fair and I have yet to have any problems.
