Awesome turkey cubans. Great food here. You can sub turkey for the traditional pork and it's delicious. With all the traditonal toppings and beans and rice on the side. Delicioius and cheap. Not much to look at but that's fine with me.

the best Cuban food!!!!!!. i visit the Tampa Bay area regularly and always make it a point to stop by this resturant several times. My grandmother is Cuban and many of her recipes are difficult to beat. BUT The Floridian comes close and in fact...I think they've beat her Cuban sandwich! The deviled crab is so tasty...I wish I had a bigger stomach. Top it off with the hot sauce they offer...its unbeatable. Last year I went in and the owner agreed to sell me some frozen deviled crabs to take back home to Texas. You must go...if you do not you are doing yourself a great injustice. Seriously...I fully intend to drop big bucks(thanks honey) when I'm on vacation and this resturant is better than all of the fancy..waterfront dining we typically do in Florida. I just love it!!!!

Best Cuban Sandwiches on the Gulf. If you want great sandwiches try this place. Great food, great service. Eat oustside. Authentic Cuban sandwiches, black beans and rice and much more.

Too many restaurants boast the best Cuban in town ... but this joint actually does it.. The Scene
The restaurant's decor is done in tidy green and white colors, with a big, beachy patio conveniently situated about a half-block from the beach.

The Food
Crisp, fresh Cuban bread driven to the beach from Tampa; tender, perfectly cooked meat and lots of it; excellent pickles, cheese, mustard and mayo. Spanish bean soup arrives steaming in a cup, its broth thick, hot and heavy with potatoes, ham, onion and chickpeas. The coconut flan is perfect: smooth and creamy and dripping with caramel and coconut.
