Solid Thai / Sushi for the Beaches. Nori Thai is a very solid Thai / Sushi destination. Although not the best of either cuisine, everything I have had there is solid. A few of our favorites are the Thai-tanic soup, pad thai (obvious choice I know but their's is very good), St. Pete Beach roll, and the crispy duck.

The owners and the staff are very nice, and take great care of their customers.

Worst Sushi. If I could, I would give this place no stars. I ordered sushi take-out with my co-worker for lunch. It was awful. The shrimp tempura roll had slimey shrimp that tasted old, and the JB roll had absolutely no flavor.

My co-worker's sushi was even worse. She ordered a dynamite roll that did not have fish in it. She called to see if they gave her the wrong roll, and the lady said that they grind up the octopus and another fish. She said it tasted like ground beef. Mind you, she worked as a bartender in a sushi restaurant for 10 years. She knows her sushi.

I haven't had their Thai food, but after such an experience with the sushi, I have no desire to try it.

Best Thai in St. Pete. We have been visiting this little jewel for years. Mama-san (the owner) is amazing and always greets with a smile! The dishes are fantastic as is the service and general vibe of this not-to-be-missed eatery!!!

Best Thai I've ever had.. I eat at Nori Thai on a regular basis. The food and service are always excellent and the staff always asks if I want the same thing as the time before. No matter what that was, they always seem to remember. I've converted many people into fans as well. I always recommend it to out of town visitors who now expect to eat there on return visits. Highly recommended.

very bad experience. took the family and was rudly greeted , we asked for a larger table and were refused even though they had open tables, five people sitting at a four person table...food was fair at best, service was almost non existant, we ate our food and left with a very bad taste for returning..other friends went and had similiar experience.

best thai ever!. I've been eating here for years. The service is great! Waitresses dress in traditional Thai fashion and even strike up a conversation with their clients. The food is extremely affordable and great! Panang Curry best!!!! I am a Thai food enthusiast and this place is the best in the city. Great for people not used to Thai cooking. Sushi bar is a major plus as well. I have yet to have a single bite from Nori Thai that I've disliked.
