Good food. We went there on the evening of 3/14/12 the food was excellent so was the view and our service was good, staff forgot to send our appetizer out but they did eventually get it out and took it off our bill. We would definately go back there!

This is NOT the place to stop, no matter how hungry you are.. We ate at Crabby Bill's in St. Pete Beach on the evening of 1/30/2012. After waiting forever to have our orders taken, the waitress gigglingly told my husband that he made a good choice with the sweet potato fries, because they all loved to eat them off the plate as they walked by. We should have walked out then, but stupid us, we stayed. We kept running out of drink waiting for our food. She finally came with the food 30 minutes later and deposited it on the table. We didn't see her again for 45 minutes. My fish was like leather, and she just shrugged and asked if I wanted another. I told her that since my husband was finished eating, of course I didn't want another piece. She left, and, instead of coming back with a manager, she deposited the bill on the table. If Crabby Bill's were the last restaurant left in St. Pete Beach, I would rather eat peanut butter and jelly!

Horrible Experience. What a terrible experience! My wife and I were prepared for the long (45 minute) wait, but had heard good things about Crabby Bills - obviously the one on St. Pete Beach was not the one getting good reviews. The service was terrible, our server disappeared once we got our drink order, returning only to hand us our bill. The fried platter with oysters, clam strips, shrimp and fish was both undercooked (oysters and clam strips) and overcooked, almost burnt (shrimp and fish). French fries were soggy, baked potato was disgusting; the only decent item was the cole slaw (probably purchased from outside vendor) and the beer. Would never go to this place again, don't be fooled by long lines, us tourists don't know any better!

Disappointed fish lover. This was the worst $100 I had ever spent on a meal. The only part of the meal that tasted different was the french fries. I had the pollock, scallops, shrimp and a crab cake meal which tasted like sawdust packed tight.

We waited for almost an hour and I am sure i must have been Crabby Bill on the door. Unreal!!

Awful and no flavor. I was really disappointed by the food at Crabby Bill's because I heard good things about it. It was awful. It started with the crab and artichoke dip, the only flavor it had was sprinkled on with some kind of artificial flavoring that reminded me of the dry salad dressing mixes. I ordered the blackened tuna, rice and carrots - the tuna was completely without flavor and over cooked, the rice was the only good thing and I know that came out of a box. My daughter ordered the fried oysters - how are you going to screw up something fried???? There was no flavor in the seasoning. We waited an hour for this mess.

worth the wait. If you enjoy good food at a fair price in a casual atmosphere you'll enjoy Crabby Bill's. In season, there will be a long line waiting to enter. However, the line moves quickly and the food is worth the wait. Seating is family style.

Sometimes you can't go home. Crabby Bill's has become a shell of itself. Serving bland, overcooked seafood is not how they built their reputation, but it's what has happened. Much better choices for seafood now, even on the beaches.

Worst restaurant EVER!!!. Worst restaurant I have EVER ate at in my life. We had a 35 minute wait on a Wednesday night... After we were seated, we had to wait another 15 minutes for our server to show up to take our drink order. We ordered our dinners after that and the food took 30 minutes longer. To eat dinner was over 1 1/2 hours... Food portions were small and the food was cold when it arrived. I would not recommend this restaurant to my worst enemy! This place should be called CRAPPY BILLS!

Review Correction. Like to retract the previous review - posted it to the wrong crabby bills entry - it should have refered to the entry for Crabby Bills on COURTNEY CAMPBELL CAUSEWAY - not the one on St Pete Beach.
