Best kept Secret. I got a tip from a local when I asked for the best place locals would go. The next day, my wife and I stopped by. It was not quit lunch yet, but when my wife ordered breakfast, I asked if I could get something from the lunch menu. I ended up getting a beautiful and tasty Blackened Grouper sandwich! My wife loved her food too! They made us feel at home. And it is in a very beautiful location. Just right for a nice walk to top off a beautiful day! I am truly dieing to go back!
Hangover Helper. Historic Eighth Avenue has plenty to do and one of the locals' favorite activities is to spend a celebratory night in Shadrack's Bar and the next ( late ) morning take a walk down to the Seahorse Restaurant for a good ol' patty melt! Gooey cheese, sauteed onions and Grade A beef on grilled rye bread! Mouth watering goodness!!
Best on pass a grill. Severy meal we had on the beach was bad except for seahorse. Great did and see I It's the only placeto eaton pass a grill. The others are horrible. We would have eaten every meal here if they were open for dinner
Great Neighborhood Eatery. Visiting Pass A Grill annually for the last five years, we have come to rely on Sea Horse for great Breakfasts and Lunches. The food has always been great complete with prompt service and excellent attention to the diversified needs ranging from my 8-year old grandson to 85-year old Father-in-law. This is nice to be able to talk about the days events before eating so don't be in a hurry (like a McDonald's) as you will be disappointed. The only bummer of this past year was the lack of T-Shirts to bring back as gifts which I'm sure will be in stock for our next trip down.
Seahorse......or horseXXXX. A very nice looking restaurant--from the outside. Food was terrible, undercooked and service was the worst I have ever experienced. Waitress delivered 1 meal at a time. We had to beg for syrup for pancaqkes. Waitress walked away saying "they want syrup on there pancakes" like we asked for some outrageous thing. This is a "locals only" establishment. Tourists BEWARE!!
Best Beach Breakfast. A great little place, as evidenced by it's always crowded. Best grits in Florida, great breakfast potatos too. A booth by the window is the essence of dining on the beaches in Florida.
a great place for breakfast. I've been going to this place for breakfast for years! The food is good, they have the best grits in town and there is never a dull moment. Plus you can eat outside and watch the boats go by.
