The best secret in St Pete!. WoW! This outdoor restaurant has a beautiful and relaxing ambiance. The owner gives start up music talent a start on a quaint little stage which adds to the tropical atmosphere! The food is very good - stick with the burgers and fries. Great $5 burger and beer deal combo! The onion rings are awesome! You probably won't be able to leave without meeting the owner, whom I am embarrassed to say, I can't remember his name - because he seems to remember everyone who walks over the entry-bridge to eat there! Thank you for your service & food!…
Not Impressed. I went thru Groupon and purchased half off meal deal. T say the least I was not impressed at all. I walked in not knowing if I had walked in the correct way or not. No-one greeted me, until I just stood there awhile then told I could eat in or out. The inside is extremely small. The outside felt like a garage sale, lots of nothing as decoration. I proceeded to eat my food when a customer walked in with a dog. I am not a fond of eating where animals are present and felt that was in bad taste..My neighborhood was not the best and will never return. I had my hopes so high based on the comments I read before coming to this restaurant all the way from Tampa and I was trully let down. The burgers were simpply ok, nothing to brag about..…
ENCHANTING PIECE OF HEAVEN!!.
When you cross that little bridge from the parking lot into the courtyard, it is like stepping into another world.
There are many, many clawfoot bathtubs, used as planters and with beauiful painted Florida scenes on each tub. The courtyard is surrounded by so many different plants and trees. There are pic-nic tables and round tables, some positioned under overhangs and some under unbrellas.
In the winter time there is always a bondfire and heaters to keep you warm. Inside there are a few tables. But there is also a dining room where "High-Tea" is held. A beautiful old dining room table that seats about 16 people, with tablecloth and georgeous tablewear. There are china cabinets filled with awesome china and and crystal . Group parties come to have tea and goodies in the dining room.
There is a quaint bar over at one end of the outside restaurant. There is also a small stage where you can
hear really great entertainers. There is always great music sourrounding you even when (real entertainers) are not present.
Great for group parties, or just the two of you. Look for
the colorful Gecco who resides over the doorway to the restrooms, he is about 6 ft. long, but very harmless!
And then there is THE FOOD!!!! A great variety on the menu. The very BEST burger ever and the onion rings are to die for, you could wear them for bracelets they are so big. All the prices are very reasonable.
We drive all the way from Lakeland to eat here and the owners, Jill and Debbie are the BEST!!!
DON'T MISS THIS ENCHANTING LITTLE BIT OF HEAVEN.…
The best burgers in town. This little gem has the best burgers in town. The other food on the menu is well priced, and the place is really quaint.
Great place to listen to music!.
Not too many places like this around any more. Great burger and fries. It has an outdoor courtyard with a parrot-head type bar area, picnic tables, unbrella shade and lots of foliage. There's
kitschy, funky art all around and somebody said it has a dining room as well but I didn't go in.
I went there on a Thursday to hear Liz Hollister perform ( she was awesome, great singer/guitarist ) and I was surprised how good it sounded outside. Evidently they have music other nights as well. Great alternative to the "sports bar" environment. What a breath of fresh air!…
