Can we rate less than one star?????. There was a band playing at Ferg's last night that we wanted to see, so we got a group of friends together to go for dinner and drinks. Each time I've been to Ferg's, I wonder why I'm there since there are SO many great places to eat and hang out in the city..

This time we were on the "Party Deck." There were at a minimum 100 people and NO servers. To order food or drinks we had to go to the bar. We also had to clean off our own tables.. Here's a hint for the owner, and this might come as a real shocker... If you have someone actually waiting on patrons you will sell much more in food and drinks. Waiting at the bar for at least 10 minutes for one of the 2 bartenders to get me a drink was a real treat. I felt like I was at taco bell.. Only the food was worse.

One of our friends did not want to order the wings since he was violently ill after eating them the last time he was there. My husband and other friend ordered the cuban to share. Both of them were extremely sick all night long. My friend barely made it home before she started getting sick. No one else was sick, so we know the cuban was to blame. I'm surprised this place hasn't been featured in the Dirty Dining segment on the news.. Maybe I'll see if I can help that along.

We were seated at the back of the "Party Deck" near the kitchen which reeked of nasty oil and garbage. My clothes from last night smell like I worked IN the kitchen.

Shame on you, Mark Ferguson! As a successful business person in our community, why would you allow your business to be run so poorly?

Gross food that makes people sick, lackluster (probably an overstatement) service, and a dirty atmosphere are the top reasons I will not return. No wonder they keep your credit card at the bar when you open a tab - I would have walked out on my tab in a heartbeat, which I've never done before..

TOO LOUD!. Old, crappy food, dirty and really....do they really need to play the music that loud? I mean I like bands but they play it so loud you can't hear your partner talk!

Yeah, it's a dump. I went with some friends, and wanted to leave before we even got inside. Ended up eating outside anyway, but it's really trashy. They set up picnic tables on the railroad tracks! With all the overgrown weeds, the dumpsters reeking, the homeless panhandling, and the heat, it was an experience I don't want to repeat.

I mean really, Ferg makes a ton of money off the Rays games, why can't he put some of that money into some landscaping, or paint, or remodeling the stinky bathrooms. Just takes the money and buys himself an RV. Or starts up a new investment pyramid.

Where my love for wings began. I used to play softball on Friday nights at Woodlawn Field on 16th Street with my church's team and we'd go to Ferg's after every game. That's where my teammates introduced me to chicken wings. I ordered the mild wings every time with fries and I never got bored with them. They were great about getting us a big table for our large group (usually 10 people or so) and our servers were always quick and friendly. I also felt pretty safe being right across the street from the St. Pete Police Department. The prices are great too--$15 for food, drink and tip combined. The only downside for me is that it's often crowded during baseball season, because it's so popular. It's the closest restaurant to Tropicana Field; right across the street.
