The Scene – With a pair of street-level indoor bars and outside decks arranged like steps, Ferg's offers plenty of elbow room, all the way up to the third-floor storage and office space. An estimated 25,000 people visited during the 1999 Final Four. But it's not just for sports fans. Musicians and women dressed in black meld with fans watching the big games. – – The Food – The grub is much better than most sports bars. From the meaty, seasoned wings and burgers to the smoked fish spread, veggies and shrimp pasta, the kitchen does everything well--takeout is available…
Dirty, old, cramped, yick

Don't waste your time here. Where the locals go??I DONT THINK SO! It's dirty, the service is so casual it's annoying (I just love when servers call fems "you guys" ) The food was poor, cold, kitchen was pure filth! Come here when there's a game or sporting event and you get lousy food, poor service with hundreds of drunked moronic sports fans around you. If that describes you, you'll loveit.
- Pros: I cant think of one
- Cons: Everything else

If you like any sports this is the place to go. You can't go 5 feet without seeing a big screen TV. The food and service is excellent . Great place for meeting people. This is an eclectic atmosphere. Their boneless chicken wings are excellent as with all the other food. Good choices of beer on draft and in bottles. This is where the locals go to hang out have a good time and watch their favorite sports, see old friends and make new friends.
- Pros: It is the best sports bar in the Tampa Bay area
- Cons: non
PREP COOKS DONT WEAR GLOVES AND HANDLE ALL FOOD!!!
by swankenstein
Avoid this place like the plague, I made the mistake of sitting at the bar with a clear shot of the OPEN kitchen, the prep cook palmed almost EVERY ingredient of my Cobb Salad, so disgusting. He would wipe his hands on a filthy rag that hung from tucked inside his shorts. He grab his dirty drink glass, scratch his face, touch other people and fondle just about everything that came out of that kitchen. And what kills me is it didnt occur to him ONCE that he might want to either was his hands, wear some gloves or maybe just not touch everyone's food. Isnt it a Health code to wear gloves as a prep cook? Im gonna check. DO NOT EAT HERE. If you think Im blowing this out of proportion, go sit at the bar where you can CLEARLY see the prep line....unreal.
- Cons: PREP COOKS DIRTY HANDS PALM ALL THE FOOD GOING OUT OF THAT KITCHEN!!!
