This used to be the place late-night eats place in St. Pete.
Horrible service now, too, did I mention that? Apparently some new owners took over this year. I used to go here for late-night food and beers every single time I came to St. Pete. Now they close the kitchen earlier, the late-night menu has been SEVERELY cut back, and I've never had worse service than the last time I just went there. They were practically kicking us out of the place 15 minutes after our food arrived due to the new, earlier, closing time. I'm sad that my old favorite is now gone. They told us they're changing the name too. Watch out.

Neighborhood English Pub.
Great when opened - new owners - horrendous. Dirty, filthy and bad food. Bar maid with cigarette hanging on lip and ashes in your draft. Skip this place!

Bad.
Limey's used to be a good little neiborhood pub, but I'm afraid after the last couple of years it has taken a big dive. From having some of the best Fish n Chips in the area to the worst. Some of the bar staff seem to have no manners what so ever. They seem to think that mean and moody is the way to act!! I hope somebody gets hold of this place and actually saves it before it's too late. Definately so far away from what you would expect a good pub to be!!

you couldn't find worst service if you tried!.
So my hubby & I have given this place three tries. as in, three strikes, you're out!! Each & every time we sit and wait and wait and wait for some dumb witted waitress to attempt to take our order. At british pubs we always order the same, black & tans and the ploughmans board. If you have the 20 mins to wait the black & tan will be decent. Most the time they're out of the ploughmans board( which is ham, cheese, & pickles by the way) All in all, if you have lots of time to wait and be ignored and then received lousy food & have to hunt down your check, then gohere. Otherwise, avoid it like the plague

Cozy and unpretentious, tap into an authentic pub atmosphere at Limey's..
The Scene
A rambling old cottage with a wrap-around porch, plants dangling from the eaves, chamberpots hanging from the ceiling, wood furnishings, worn rugs and a cozy fireplace. Goodbye Florida, hello England.
The Vibe
Just outside of downtown St. Petersburg, expect the laid-back, casual attitude typical of any neighborhood pub. Sit inside the homey parlor or dine al fresco. Patrons can relax in a pretty courtyard, or sink into one of the comfy couches on the porch.
Draft Picks
Boddingtons, Bass Ale, Old Speckled Hen and a respectable pint of Guinness. Besides excellent brews on tap, you can pick your poison from a fully stocked bar that has a superb selection of whiskeys and scotches. The perfect place to come if you're craving vittles from across the pond--choose from a menu brimming with pasties, shephard's pie, fish 'n' chips and other British specialties, all expertly prepared and perfectly delicious.
