Absolute favorite place..... Decor may be a little odd but the place is super clean, service is above average and the food is out of this world!! The courtyard is awesome in the fall - the outdoor bar makes the place a cool hangout place for girls night out. Can't get enough of this place.

Really good food! But.... The food was really good! The only bad thing about Red Mesa is that the parking can be a pain and the food is a little pricey.

Authentic, Delicious!. Beautiful restaurant inside, small, but inviting. Waitstaff was excellent, very nice and friendly. Menu was unlike any other, saw things on the menu I've never seen before. I ordered the chicken enchilada's and they were very tasty! It came with rice, and black beans..which the rice wasn't like what you get at a typical mexican restaurant either. Very good, prices were good too. I have a three year old son, and he wanted macaroni and cheese, they had it, along with a side order of fancy vegetables. We weren't disappointed, and will be back.

Tasty. I'm quite fond of this restaurant and have been for years. The calamari is fabulous, and the salads are all pretty good. I frequently order the cheese enchiladas as I'm not much of a meat person and they're always great.

Voted # 1 By "The Zee Man".
Can't beat this Cantina on 3rd Street or the original on 4th Street ! I have had nothing but the BEST food & service at both.
I really admire the personal touch & lay-out of the newest RED MESA CANTINA, we loved the Tacos, Tuna,Steak & fantastic Sangria & many FANTASTIC Drinks.

Save Your Money. Pleasant and friendly waitstaff. However the food is not prepared well. Rather tasteless and greasy. Be warned, they do not de-vein or completely clean all of the shrimp that goes on their dishes. Portions are small and pricy.

Not anything special. I have been to Red Mesa a total of 3 times, hoping that the third time would be a charm. I was disappointed again. Maybe I'm ordering the wrong things off the menu, but I haven't had anything that got me excited about their cuisine.

Awesome.... My husband and I stumbled upon this place on the internet... heard great things, so we checked it out. All I have to say is awesome. The food was fresh and flavorful and the presentation was very impressive. The service was great as well. We live in Tampa, but we will be driving back to saint pete just to have dinner there. We cannot wait to bring our relatives from out of town.

Great Mexican Food. great atmosphere, wait staff, and amazing food. We went there for the first time today thanks to recommendations from other users on this site and really enjoyed the food. We had the mushroom fonduta and flauto de pollo. Both were outstanding. We both love spicy food and ordered their spiciest dishes they had. both were some sort of steak. They were cooked to perfection, and the rub they used was excellent. Overall it is our new favorite Mexican restaurant and we will be going there for years to come
