This food is so good. Italian Mia rocks. Big portions for the money, you can eat twice off the dinners. Don't miss this hidden gem. The big guy that runs the place can be a bit short but he is a gentle giant and isn't as bad as the way he comes across sometimes. The food is well worth trying if you haven't been their. **5 stars**

Excellent food / Poor customer service. Talk about excellent Italian food, THIS PLACE ROCKS! My only issue is the quality of their customer service for their takeouts - For years now they have let this guy answer their phones who is absolutely obnoxious - He is rude, rushes you, and if you dare ask any questions you get the feeling he will jump through the phone line and strangle you. My wife and I always refer to him as "The Pizza Nazi" reminiscent of that old Seinfeld episode. Also, when picking up your order be sure to check that you are not being over charged. This has happened to us numerous times and it is usually in excess of $5.00. If you can deal with the attitude from the guy answering their phone, I highly recommend this place. Excellent food.

italia mia. italia mia is the best place for italian food in st. pete i highley recemend it for italian people and people that arent italian if u lik pizza its the place to go try there sub 11 it is the best on the meanu

Outstanding italian food!. Since 2004 me and my family have been going to Italia Mia. They are located in St. Pete and we live almost an hour away but it is worth the drive. The food is excellent; I have yet to find any italian place that comes close to their pizza or subs. They are always very friendly and their dinning area, while small, is always very clean. I would recommend maybe eating around 4:00 if its a Friday or Saturday because it fills fast. For a really good italian dinner for anybody you can not top Italia Mia.

Best Italian resturaunt to relax and indulge at. Not opened Sundays though.. I love the food.The calamari is so tender in the red sauce. Their red sauce itself is so flavorful. I love the fresh baked rolls.Bigger then my fist. I always order more of them to go. Light and airy on the inside, crispy on the outside! Dipping them in the marinara sauce is so good. The salads have always been fresh. The prices you can't beat. I take all my friends here for Italian food. One friend isn't so much for Italian food. They have this steak sub with mushroom and onions that is out of this world . It's huge! You will have left overs for the next day. He will now come with me so I can have my calamari in red sauce and he can eat his steak sandwich too. I would love to no the marinara recipe. Service is friendly and has fast has you can get while waiting for food to be prepared. I'm spoiled and don't go anywhere else...Ellen 3

great little italian place. I have been going to Italia Mia's for years. They have a great homeae minestrone, a great marinara sauce, and wonderful alfredo. The waiters are always so polite and helpful. I would recommend this to anyone. They're also great for takeout during lunch.

Had the lunch special lasagna. Had the lunch special lasagna. More of a soup than a meal. Put a fork straight down in it and it fell over. Tasted like they used that mystery saugage bits from sysco systems.

Maybe in a year or so I'll try them again in hopes something will change.
