This used to be my playground..... Beware of the new group hanging out here "The Rowdies" fans! They like to fight and follow clients out of the bar and then sucker punch them! They are also the group of "tattoed hooligans" (or should I say tattooING) who like to punch girls and then run away! With this kind of crown around downtown it's not even fun to go out down there anymore! The bar knows and the bouncer knows and they do nothing to help the situation!...They know who they are and they will get theirs!

best bar in down town st pete. I have had a great time every time I went there. For me and my friends, the emerald is like a parking place, we start the night there, and end the night there, but there are plenty of other cool bars walking distance...If you haven't meet George yet you are really missing out.

All in all, if you don't have a blast at this bar, you are probally trying really hard to have a bad time.

Sons of Hippies!!!. Haven't been yet but if they booked Son of Hippies.on Sat ,.they got somethin goin!!

Cheap Beer and even cheaper bar staff. weigh your options. If you like being smothered in a cloud of smoke whilst listening to pretentious fixed gear bike kids talk about their newest tattoo, then this is your place.

The only bartender that really pays attention to you standing there with cash in hand and an eager "must get beer now face" is Linda. She works Wed not sure when else.

Chrissy is a crab, and only gets to you when she feels like slopping her butt to your side of the bar. Moe when she works is just the same.

The owner could give a S*it less.. he is just happy that the stools are full and the register is ringing.

I end up with headaches the next day after being there, not sure why I ever go back as each hungover morning I swear off that swamp gas of a joint.. guess I am a glutten for cheap beer and being belittled by bartenders.
